Had a mini-moment of Kondo regret when I went to start making cottage pie for dinner and realised that I'd Kondoed the pie dish as I rarely make pies of any sort now. But pie is happily bubbling away in the oven now in a cake pan. It doesn't know the difference! :rotfl:
Glad the appointment went well iQueen and hope everyone else is good too!0 -

In a world that has decided that it's going to lose its mind, be more kind my friend, try to Be More Kind0 -
Good morning everyone.
Finaly caught up with reading posts. Went to do babysitting yesterday without my glasses, so couldn't read or type my lists.
Mins game day 10. Saturday
1 bike light with no bracket
2 Metal backing plate from old computer
3 Box old batteries
4 almost empty perfume bottle
5 plastic box with indeterminate contents, could have been breadcrumbs
6 tops of 5 fibre tip pens
7 drywipe marker pens x 2 dried out
8 permanent marker pen that GD thought was drywipe pen
9 rusty padlock from windowsill in the hall
10 window cleaning spray, only used for the slightly textured windows at the side of the house that are not suitable for the squeegee, decided it was rubbish.
Day 11 Sunday
1 Tupperware party susan
2 electric plug unused with price label on
3 electric plug for 3amp circuit only, last used in 2000, maximum allowed in DD1 college bedrooms
4 and 5 bodywash 2 x 100 ml into handwash container
6 spacesaving hanger, looked good on shopping channel, but failed to meet expectations - bin
7 as 6, but unopened, someone might find it useful, CSzb bag
8 silver plated vase that may or may not have been the one that held the fresh fresias on my wedding cake 41 years ago, I had bought a matching one several years later
9 candle in silver pottery container that had belonged to mum. I tried to use it up, but once it had burned below the level of the pot it was useless. I tried to get the wax out but failed.
10 a kamikaze plastic box containing Aberdeen Angus steaks that shattered when it jumped out of the freezer. Fortunately and unusually I had wrapped the steaks individually.

I kondoed a pair of socks today as they had a hole in them.
Two of my items from my suitcase might have to go when i get home - a top that i love but noticed i kept pulling it up as it is rather low cut. Unless i can stitch a solution into it, it will have to go as it's mugging me off. Also a lovely pair of green linen trousers that, since i lost weight, look like a sack of spuds - again, I'll try to stitch a solution but if it looks odd then they're gone.
I have to confess to a couple of purchases3 pairs of "fake" converse - only one is for me, though. However, I wasn't going to buy any for me. And a lovely little china tea pot christmas tree decoration. i haven't ever seen christmas decs in HK before (with them not celebrating christmas and all that ) so was thrilled to get this.
I wanna be in the room where it happens0 -
Glad that made you laugh VJsmum
As I really couldnt :rotfl:
The Christmas Tea pot sounds lovely and a bit different to the normal Christmas decsI wouldnt know as I dont put any decs up not even a tree
As they drive me up the wall and I hate them (evil smile) The cards get put straight in RC and I dont send any bah humbug
On a more postive note 17 items of clothes going today and 4 pairs of boots as well. Someone I know has started a dress agency and she has sold out of nearly all her stock already and asked if I had anything. So I can spare these items some joy(ish) giving but not madly joy giving and she is welcome to the stunning joyful posh jumper which leaves fluff everywhereGood luck to who ever buys it as they are going to need it
Its White s*uff so very bad for them.If I sell them I will most likely spend it on another new pair of boots as I have a bit of a thing for buying boots
and with 4 pairs going I think I can fit one more pair in
Been trying to hoover for about 30 mins but the Dog has decided to stalk, chase and bite the end of poor Henry. For all of the 30 mins
He is now asleep from all the excitement (both the dog and Henry );) So may try again soon
