Afternoon everyone!
Had a lie-in this morning, cos I've been running around since Wednesday. (I also gave in, and added the summer duvet 'bed throw' to my bed for extra warmth last night!)
I clear my Spam and Trash boxes daily, but this morning was a shock. Had to clear my Spam box of over 70 (un-opened!) spam messages - all the same subject (masses of numbers and characters), from different strange addresses! Never been blitzed like that before. Wonder where that came from?
Loved your sales pitch to Lizzie, iTwin! Poor girl, after her long morning, I bet she's off work now with a nervous breakdown! :rotfl:
Got the feedback from the MDT on Thursday, they think MOHS treatment will be best for my condition. So, I made the decision immediately. It's a far more expensive procedure and the team wouldn't have advised it if they could've got away with the cheaper suggestion, knowing the NHS's financial positon! So, just have to wait now.
After I've had a sandwich for lunch, I'm going to try to get some order back into the spare bedroom. It's been a tip, since kondoing started, and my patience is exhausted. So, thanks to all you Konverts with your lists of bedlinen, towels, and mins, more is now going, together with all the komono in there. Clear space is what I want, and clear space is what I'm going to get! :j
Have a happy weekend! :dance:Needs, NOT wants!
No food waste since November 2010. :j

Good afternoon.
Babysitting so trying to complete mins listings for the rest of this week.
Day 12 Monday
Was at DD2s until late evening when I drove her car home so DS could take his driving test in it on Tuesday. I had to do catch up, so a bit of a cheat with the numbers.
1 to 6. Random all different food container lids
7 and 8. Two food container bottoms with no matching lids
9 to 12. 4 unused floppy discs straight to bin, would usually dismantle and cut them up if used.
Day 13 Tuesday.
Took the car back in the afternoon so had the chance to repatriate some of her belongings that had stayed withh me since she moved out of her previous flat in the summer.
1. Floral doormat
2. Single white sheet
3 and 4. Single sheet and pillowslip matching the cover on her spare bed
5. Pillowslip matching the double cover on her washed pile
6. Two part single all seasons duvet
7. Four coasters matching two in use
8. Her old sewing machine
9. Box with sewing accessories
Some things she needed
10. 3 dessert spoons as she appears to have lost some
11. 8 takeaway type boxes that are more useful for the fridge freezer she got on Sunday than the tall containers she usually uses
12. 7 industrial sized overlocker threads for the overlocker we got her from lidl on Monday.
And
13. Two sets of L plates to CS bag, thankfully DS pased his test!
I don't know what I am going to do with all my spare time now they are all independently mobile and I won't have to ferry them round the country or supervise their driving practice.
Intensive Kondoing in prospect. JOY!0 -
I'm not far on in the KonMarie journey - time is an issue - but my underwear & T-shirts are still a sight to behold - however yesterday....
Listening to local radio on way to work Female Presenter mentioned she'd been given a book on tidying by the newsgirl after moving house. When I arrived at work I called the studio (it's a very local radio station) and asked if it was Marie Kondo ....she got really excited and said it was. We went on to have a quick discussion and then I went to work.
Forgot they taped the calls ...on way home I heard my conversation played back - DH's face was a picture
Anyhow - next week she'll report back on her journey - should be interesting.
Am presently kondoing very much reduced fruit into dehydrated fruit for winter but really need to get back on the journey
Keep posting folks - hopefully it will make me feel guilty enough to kondo more....Debts 07/12/2021

Today I had a marvellous experience - a guest appeared at v short notice and it only took me 10 mins total to have everything tidy and presentable, and to scrub the loo.
This is why I kept up with the decluttering and kondoing. It is easier to keep in good order, easier to clean and more peaceful to be in
Huge thanks to all of you for spurring me on my journey:AStarting again on my own this time!! - Defective flylady! :A0 -
Oh How joyful
Lizzie from the Energy company just phoned as I was a very lucky householder as my roof is perfect for solar panels
I said 'Lizzie you sound very bored today is that right ?'
She said yes its been a long morning
Oh Lizzie let me cheer you up with a wonderful new product straight in from Nigera.
Do you want to lose 50% of your body fat in only 3 days ?;)
Its an amazing product a powder you mix it with Goose fat and it tastes yummy :rotfl:
Lizzie do you want to be one of the first people in the UK to try this magic powder ? For the reduced price of £149.95 for one month just think how slim you would be at the end of that time just think about it Lizzie.I went on and on along these lines without stopping for 4 mins :rotfl:It wasnt easy but so funny.
When I stopped for breath Bang the phone went dead
Before that I did say if she wanted any more info to please phone me back at anytime
A fun time had by me not poor old Lizzie but maybe she wont be so bored relaying that call to her mates
Mav x
That is sooo funny!! Thank you for brightening my day!! :T
I am not sleeping well so not getting much done but I have my appointment for Tuesday morning so hopefully I will get good news this time, 3rd time lucky, and then I can get back to Kondo again.
Although I have filled a few bin bags with items that family members might want, another for the charity shop if it ever opens and I have half filled the black bin and almost the same on the blue bin so I suppose I am still getting things done. A few things I discovered which had been purchased for presents have now been added to the present box so I must see who I can give them to for Christmas. Guess that means I need to make a Christmas list so I can keep a record rather than buying for anyone twice and if I find anything else while on my Kondo mission at least it will be easy to add to my list.
Hubby cleaned the bathroom this morning and he Kondoed a few items out of there - he is catching on to Kondo too! We did list almost 30 items on Ebay on Thursday too. Baby steps for us I am afraid but we will get there!!0 -

Can't wait to reach the point whereby I can sit at a clear desk with a clear mind, and not having to anticipate which pile is going to fall on me first!
You are an inspiration to me dragonette, because despite fatigue and other health problems you have carried on doing a bit each day and are now reaping the rewards.
Mins day 10
1 feather boa
2 greetings cards x 21 - I find these particularly difficult to let go of and now have just one bag instead of two having been tackling these bit by bit since the start of kondoing several months ago
3 travel documents case - never used
4 cord thingy for keeping glasses on
5 pair airline socks
6 2 newspaper articles
7 instructions for using a knife!!
8 page out of magazine
9 entry ticket to museum in Spain
10 old list
Mins day 11
1-10 newspaper cuttings, lists and notes
11 train times (a handwritten note which must be at least 9 years old)
Cuttings, lists and notes are just as hard for me to get rid of as greetings cards. I have hoarded such things for many years and it does feel good to be letting them go.Decluttering Awards: 🏅🏅0 -

As I can't currently kondo as I am away with work, I have taken to dreaming about it instead.
I wanna be in the room where it happens0 -
Oceanspirit aww shucks, that's made me all bashful! In a way, it's my conditions which forced me to put my living environment as a high priority. No matter what happens in future - I am a konvert. Not quite a minimalist yet, but well on the way to it:AStarting again on my own this time!! - Defective flylady! :A0
