Morning Everyone! :coffee:
iTwin: Thanks for inquiring - I'm still here, and fine, just suffering from 'medical appointment overload'! Just like city buses - they all come in a clump... Friday, yesterday, and today's trip to Cardiff, for a meeting with a surgical team.
I'm looking forward to today's 'day out' and not having the 5 hours driving; but gadding about hither and thither is tiring when I'm just used to pottering. :rotfl:
Have spent the last few days, trying to catch up on laundry! How many other Konverts have moved into warmer clothes and left all the summer clothes, congregating at the bottom of the laundry basket?
Still reading everyone's posts, when I get a minute. I hope to be be back up to speed, this evening.
Got an hour to get ready now, for my lift - clothes all laid out. (Appointment at 2pm!) And still have to paint my nails! :dance:Needs, NOT wants!
No food waste since November 2010. :j

Sorry to drag the conversation back to carrier bags but when I popped into the supermarket on the first day of the charges, everyone was carrying out their shopping loose in protest. Now they're all paying for bags without a second thought. Funny how fast "the norm" changes.
A bonus of this though is that it's made me MUCH healthier when ordering groceries, as delivering without bags means they can "see" my junk. I know they don't really care either way, but something about the guilt of watching the delivery man unload chocolate gets me. :rotfl:
Kondoed the grey hairs today. Where did they all come from?!0 -
iTwin I hope everything goes well for you.I am thinking of you getting your lift and sitting in the back waving like the Queen
Let us know later as to how it went as I am sure we are all thinking of you x

Good evening everyone.
I have made two trips totalling 600 miles to DD2 in 48 hours and got back late last night. I took my list for mins game day 11 and 12 with me, but didn't get chance to post.
Today has been catch up with housework and reading this thread during breaks.
Will need to retrieve the list from my bag and get back on here after dinner.0 -

Get well soon, dragonette. I'm struggling to work this week, still battling the aftermath of the cold and having fun with 'brain fog' and the old lets-transpose-the-numbers-and-mix-up-the-words malarkey.
Having to use a lot of concentration not to b*lls it up in the workplace, but just got to make it through one more working day then my personal workweek has ended.
I haven't any minsgame for yesterday and today so I think I have well and truly stalled, but it's still great fun reading what the rest of you are doing. I've got Miss Minimalist's books The Joy of Less out of the library atm and am honing my eye with minimliasm websites. I love the aesthetic of Less.Every increased possession loads us with a new weariness.

I hope tomorrow is, i guess smooth is the best word,Greyqueen? Or just that it goes quickly with some restful days afterwards
I'm finding that minimalism websites and giving me more inspiration than the decluttering ones - as I seem to have done a lot of the easy wins already. I suspect there will be another tipping point soon, where home feels lighter:AStarting again on my own this time!! - Defective flylady! :A0
