    :) Evening all.

    Bit poorly tonight so just updating my minsgame;

5th October – facemask sachet (used it), a blouse into textile recycling, a fancy cardboard gift box (recycling), 2 IKEYA bagfuls of weeds to the tip.

It's a slight cheat, I took the weeds yesterday as I knew I wouldn't have time to do it today.

    1. Old price list from hairdressers (bin)
    2. Instructions for electric toothbrush (bin)

    To be continued... :D

    3. Photoframe (charity shop)
    4. Box of chocolates (to replenish the sweetie stash at work) :)
    5. Bookmark (charity shop)
    6. Letter (bin)
    7. Receipt for a phone topup (bin)

    Now for day 8 ...

  • IQueen, good news about the appointment. Re driving licence- if you get a big PO they sometimes have a booth and can do the photo there and then for you. (PO lady: "Take your glasses off, love". Me: "But it says on the form that you should wear them if you usually do so". PO lady: "yeah, but you can't get a decent photo with the reflection, so ignore that!")

UKAmerican, I have the same problem - without the 'noise' of so many possessions I am noticing grubby paintwork and walls. I'm planning to work through one room at a time. It's going to be so much easier now I won't be moving boxes of stuff every time I need to clear a room.

:)iQueen, funnily enough, I had to renew my drivers license last weekend. If you have a valid passport, you can do it online (details on the back of the renewal form) and they use the passport pic and sig. Saves you £3 on the renewal and the price of getting photies done. HTH.

Thank you for your kind thoughts.

I've now recovered from the stunning NHS mess-up! (Would have used the 'male fowl'-up, but last time, the filters substituted !!!!, which made it look even worse!) :rotfl:

    My mins today:
    2 old PC keyboards, (usable?)
    1BN keyboard, boxed.
    1 toaster, working
All 4 were earmarked a while ago, but never left the house.:o They will be going next week, when I have an appointment in town. We have a very large 'not-for-profit' (rolls eyes) place that sells s/h furniture etc, and refurbs and tests electricals.

Still need one more item, but I'll tag that on tomorrow's. On second thoughts, I'll shift an old bedside cabinet that I CBA to try to sell!

Enjoy your evening everyone - I'm relaxing with heavily buttered Soreen! :rotfl:

:) Thanks for your well-wishes, lovely peeps, it's just a stinking cold which knocked me sideways today. Good night's sleep should see me ready to kick a$$ tomorrow. Nighty-night. GQ xx

Delurking to say if anyone is requiring to get passport photographs taken and you have a snappy snaps place near you I would highly recommend them. Our local one has a photographer who takes the picture and ensure that it is the correct size and will take a different photograph if it is not to your liking or it is unsuitable and it will save you wasting money on the booths which always make me look like I have either died or escaped from an asylum.
