The leopard print remark was just alittle joke.
Far too Bet Lynch....:rotfl:
Good job as I'd be out on me ear...I've got a zebra print knitted tunic that I'm brave enough to wear with just tights. Shan't do that again...being normal length and me being short I didn't think it was too short till I went to bend over to try some shoes on in a shop on Saturday ...put it like this never again!::rotfl:This is a system account and does not represent a real person. Phew, lessonlearned! I'm glad you were joking! Animal prints have never appealed to me, on clothes or furnishings!
Good luck with the cleaning, iTwin! :rotfl: One of the reasons that I don't have pets! The BBC weather forecasters keep saying 'showers' - I would call it 'persistent heavy downpour' here! Although it has stopped now... momentarily.
Got to hand it to you, mrs-moneypenny. The way you stay 'on message' and keep the rest of us relatively focussed on kondoing!
I also really admire your fortitude with the DVDs! :T Perhaps your DH has duplicated because he likes a copy both upstairs and down?
With the 2 fivers you stopped him spending, perhaps you can buy a good bottle of wine or the ingredients for his fave meal? Might encourage him to be a bit more mindful in future? :rotfl:
The seamed stockings reminded me that, at the start of kondoing, I finally binned the white tights with tiny white hearts that I wore for my wedding in 1980. It didn't hurt at all!
Hope the cake turns out well. I have my youngest (preggy) daughter visiting at the weekend, I may see if I can remember how to bake a cake! :rotfl:
Another one trying to keep us kondoing... thanks, just the two of us! It's good to see that some people are not being led astray by Boho Dreams!
Judi, what about leggings with the zebra dress? Or skinny jeans? (Obviously, not zebra-printed leggings - you might get eaten by a lion!)
Well, yesterday, I got my trousers down to 4 good pairs of jeans, and two pairs of trousers. Not sure if that will be enough, as I don't do laundry until I have a machine load and jeans take years to dry in my unheated home, in the winter. I shall be keeping a few extras 'in storage' for a while, in case there's an emergency. They'll be donated if I din't have to raid them.
Also, re-visited tops and got sweaters down to 3 winter weight and 3 light weight. Need to turn out the tee-shirt drawer and weed those again. Another CS bag ready to go.
I did this on my stripped and re-sheeted bed... but forgot the duvet cover till bed-time! Thank goodness for the burrito-method (although I had check out, yet again, how to lay everything out!) two minutes and I was snug in bed!
Packing up newly discovered footwear today, for the chazzer - mostly abandoned by my 3 daughters, years ago! Sadly, DD2's silver Docs are too tight for me!
I'm hoping to get a bit more organised today. I need to see more clear space, and I need to kondo faster - so many things I want to do with my time, when the house is cleared! :dance:Needs, NOT wants!
No food waste since November 2010. :j

Yes will have to wear leggings in future but i dont really think they are very flattering. Oh for a pair that dont wrinkle at me knees! Looks like having to wear them though.:( I think wearing opaques was a bad idea. I wouldnt mind but i asked 'He Who Works' if he thought it was too short and he said it was fine.:D
Oh well, all done now and i met no one that i knew.:oThis is a system account and does not represent a real person. To contact the Forum Team email forumteam@moneysavingexpert.com0 -
Trust me IQueen, if there's a tangent I usually wander down it so far I forget where I was heading for initially.
There is just so much stuff I want/need to kondo I'm determined to work my way through. I do keep taking little detours from the correct order but that usually when things seem to call me over to them.
I've been in one of the spare bedrooms this morning and found the crochet cottons I'm offering my friend a sort through this afternoon, and while there I found the sun suit I was convinced I'd already given DD2 for DGS, two black bags of rubbish, a bag full of stuff for the Cs and a load of paper I can recycle (see I managed to pull some paperwork in so wasn't totally off course) going to have a coffee now. I almost kondoed the cafeterie last month but something made me keep it, then for my birthday DD3 gave me some wonderful Irish cream ground coffee to use in it so each day I treat myself to a coffee from that I. My good 'gorguss' China mug. It feels like a real treat.
I've put the money away we 'saved' so we can have a treat while on holiday now so thanks for suggesting that.
Better get a move on that coffee won't make itself. Anyone want to joinSPC~12 ot 124

Thats another strange one iTwin.I got married in 1980 :rotfl: I wore a Bright Blue fitted skirt suit but in like a wool  With the biggest shoulder pads you have ever seen  Think it must have been Dallas/Dynasty inspired
Cant remember what type of tights I had :)It was such an important day I cant remember.
I do remember my to be MIL missing the wedding as in her words'she was poking about in the junk shop across the road' :rotfl:If only I had known then what I know now.I would have been in there with her
So funny where others posts take you isnt it

I've still got the 80s meringue I married in, it brings me joy so it's stopping here. Had to smile DD3 is planning to get married in a couple of years and was talking about not knowing what style of dress she wanted so I let her try it on, it fit but was very tight on her don't think the girls reLised before I had five children I was slimmer than all of them.
Neither of us wanted to do the soppy first dance bit so we avoided the dance floor till wed had a couple of drinks so our 'first dance' was white lines don't do it dancing in a big circle arms around our mates shoulders doing high kicks. I kept my dress on all night
Finished kondoing for the day as the first of my guests have arrived so I'm going to go and cuddle my DGSSPC~12 ot 124

I GOT THE BOOK TODAY!!!!!
Sorry to shout but I'm so excited! I read the first chapter in the car before I came home - I'm impressed already. Must do some ironing as we were out most of the weekend then the rubbish weather meant I couldn't get things out to dry. But I'm on it now!
Oh, and it looks like the final paperwork for our house move got lost in the post last week - solicitors and estate agents have phoned DH asking why we are holding things up as our solicitors were expecting the paperwork back in the post today! :rotfl:
So DH is busy printing it all off in work after them emailed it all to him. Back to them by the fastest means possible tomorrow.......then let the declutter/pack up to move commence!
I will use the KonMarie method NOW (once I have read up on it!):j Almost 2 stones gone! :j
:heart2: RIP Clio 1.9.93 - 7.4.10 :heart2:I WILL be tidy, I WILL be tidy!
