It's so funny that so many if you keep going and looking lovingly at your knicker drawer. I get it though! I'm off to do mine now!

I did mine last night 😊
  • Well thats ALL my clothes done! I had already done my wardrobe but I had clothes all over the shop (under beds, built in cupboard full of stuff that was too small I bought when I first started losing weight) Everything went on the bed, I held it, talked to it (gawd I am losing the plot!) and only kept the ones that gave me joy....I got rid of the following -
    32 tops
    10 skirts/trousers
    8 dresses
    6 coats
    6 bras
    5 pairs pjs
    4 pairs shoes/boots
    3 handbags
    1 dressing gown
    1 apron

Grand total of ...76 items! All bagged up and put in the shed ready for car boot season.

I also have 1/2 carrier bag of costume jewllery ready for the car boot.

I feel great! really inspired - tomorrow I might move onto books......

    Well done soon2bjobless.

I only did tops and I'm exhausted. It was a bit overwhelming seeing it all on the bed but feels so good now. It was strangely enjoyable folding and putting away the ones I kept.
  • Ha ha read this thread on Sunday and boy how it's grown. Watched folding methods on You Tube and started my fitness clothes drawer. well what a revelation. Sorted out stuff I keep, but never wear (seen better days anyway). Have loads more room already and can't wait to be properly organised. Ordered the book from the library and it's due back on the 2nd Feb. This is the start to a clutter free house. It will be so much easier to clean and I love it when I can put my hand on things without searching high and low for them. Pure bliss. Means more room for craft stuff too.
Already decided to keep the downstairs clutter free and tidy a few weeks ago so that when people arrive at the house I am not embarrassed by the mess. I do love to be creative, but it's usually spread across the kitchen table for weeks as I have little time to do it. Having tidy and organised places for everything will feel so good and easy to keep on top of. Will hopefully get more time for crafting too. Yippie
Thanks everyone for your input and feedback.

I'm going to have to do that with mine. At the moment I've got one of those large plastic chests (I think it's a 45 litre one) full of plastic bags. I'm sure I can condense them all down to fit into a much smaller box, then get rid of the big one. It's a bit late to start tonight, so I'll do it tomorrow.

    Evening All,

Got the book and i have only managed to read a tiny bit of it.

DS his wife and children visited this evening and they are coming back tomorrow. Lovely to see them but is it wrong to think i would rather be reading my book, I'm ashamed.

I might get some reading shortly if i can stop watching folding videos, on that note where is the carrier bag folding one?????

    Regards
