I'm not about to start saying hello to the house, thanking my shoes or stroking pot plants though
Xx[/QUOTE]
Hi. I read this and .....:rotfl::rotfl:.
Its something I say when I leave my home "goodbye, love you". As I shut my front door.
Either I've lost the plot or I've been kondoed without realising it. But one things for sure I do love my home, its mine and so calm and peaceful. I love coming home

I say to the cats ( and dogs if they are staying home too) "take care of our house, Pinky is in chArge". I don't suppose its much dafter to include the house in the hello and goodbye.0 -
I started declutering at Christmas but have now started KM'ing whilst getting ready for work, making me run late. . . . So can't wait for the weekend to do some more.
If not bad enough I lied awake half the night thinking about all the things I am going to do next; I got up early and proceeded to tidy some things away and made myself late for work too. That's a first: 'Sorry I'm late I was folding / rolling my knickers and lost all track of time' :rotfl:
This evening I tackled my swimwear drawer which was a big untidy mess with stuff all crammed in and mixed up - now it's all been tried on and rolled and folded with the least flattering and ill-fitting online shopping disasters biffed out into charity bag (some totally unworn still with labels on) I now know that I definitely do not need to buy another swimming cossie for quite some time.
Tomorrow it's socks and maybe the pantry if I am feeling really brave.Mortgage

I am not going to stroke my plants as I grow cacti and I love them. Some of them are babies of original ones from 41years ago and the flowers are wonderful.
Sorted loads of photos and made 2 collages of his and hers families. All my husbands side of the family and all mine including photos of happy times when we were kids. I put them into 2 huge frames bought from Ikea years ago which were in the loft. Lots of photos binned . I thought that maybe some of my friends didn't want their wedding photos from their first weddings.
Has anyone done their kitchen yet? I have so many bowls and plates but I use them all and they are stacked. That is tomorrows task.
I did the fridge and freezer. I keep a few ready meals for OH if I am ill or just out and they are along the bottom shelf and look neat and tidy and easy to find the one you want. I put them in a row instead of stacking them and they fit and look great. :rotfl:0 -
Well, I bought it, and had it downloaded to both my reader and my husband's.
Lots of what's being said makes sense to me. Some doesn't sound like it will work for me. But surely, like any system, one adapts it to make it appropriate for oneself?0 -
Hi,
Can I just ask where to find the info on folding things? Is it described in the book?
I ask because whenever I have googled it, it only shows the tshirt methods.
Thank you!0 -
Hi all, this thread has really inspired me so I have bought the kindle version. I started to read the preface and spat out my coffee when I read the quote :
"Your course taught me what I really need and what I don't. So I got a divorce. Now I feel much happier".
I think I'm gonna like this book!I must remember that "Money Saving" is not buying heavily discounted items that I do not need. :hello:0 -

Well done a daft thing
Took another big bag to the CS on the bus this time
Got chatting to a lady started talking about the book
She was so interested she jotted down the title for her kindle
THEN I went and left the bag on the bus!!!!
I rang the bus company up who said I could collect it from the lost property
Or they will just keep it and after six months they will donate it to charity anyway. Oh boy
I passed the CS and went in to tell the lady what I had done
She said well you donated quite a bit of stuff yesterday
I told her I would be bringing more soon
She asked if I was moving or something
So I told her about the book. She jotted down the title also
And the young man working there did also for his gran who is a reformed
Hoarder.
So all in all not bad that I have recruited more to the cult
MK has a best seller on her hands I think
Just imagining my stuff travelling about on that bus it takes two hours for that bus to get back to the depot!!!!!
Lol”Pour yourself a drink, (tea for me now)
Put on some lipstick
and pull yourself together”
