Happy Monday everyone!
Just had a lovely read of everyone's updates and although some people are having a not-so-nice time, I do feel we're all a big circle of friends here and love to see everyone making strides!
It's been helped by having the lovliest weekend I've had for a long time. The down side is there was no work in but the up side of course is more me time, family time and horse time
So Friday, DH came to the yard to help out with an outstanding job and watch DD ride the loan pony. He was mucho impressedShe was over the moon as he never comes really and she's come on so much. Then Friday night I caught up on my knitting (rock and roll) but I really enjoy it and find it theraputic.
Saturday was yard until lunch time - a truly lovely, old fashioned morning. Just about us and the horses. No yard politics, no fighting for the arena, no ice meaning we can't walk over to the arena. Thoroughly enjoyed and I rode the big girl, first time since she fell and felt a little confidence coming back.
Then home, changed and out to lunch paid for by my sweet and gorgeous hubby. Wonderful food and out with family. Then we went to view some camper vans which are currently (and incorrectly we've since found out) on Groupon. Discovered a lovely little village fairly close to us that we didn't know about and is now on the options list for the farm in 2017On our way home we went to view a property that is vacant and although it has an offer in on it, we wanted to see if we liked it or not. Needless to say we loved it and it's 4.5 acres! All learning for when we come for it for real, as I'd previously dismissed it. We then went to the horsey shop 30 mins away for DD's birthday gift and back home all shattered! My lovely Mum had made us an amazing meal - lamb tagine with cous cous and flatbread (rosemary and garlic) and I was in heaven. A night in front of the TV with a bit more knitting, wine and laughter. Bliss.
Sunday saw DD click with loan pony again - they jumped a course of 7 fences of about 40 cm inc upright and spread. She was over the moon (she is 7, 8 in couple weeks) and I was brimming with pride (once my heart rate returned to normal). DS rode little pony and I think we are now finding our new balance.
I made Sunday lunch for my family and I must say, it was blummin gorgeous. Then we went for a long walk with the dog to walk off the yorkshire puds. Another night of wine and TV and knitting after that - becoming a welcome habit
So sorry for the long post about my weekend but I really really had a lovely time. Oh I went to Ald1 tooand they had no milk!?!?!??!
Right money wise, little to report as although I have been paid, my statements haven't been generated so if I pay anything it'll still go on last months money and then I will owe when the new statement comes. So this means I will have to be patient. Now, I am not too good at that
I have butternut squash, sweet potato and chilli soup for lunch, home made last night. DH approvedDebt - CCV £3792

Oh and thank you to those who said to ask re the 0% on my CC. They have reinstated a low APR 0.7% or something which is fabulous and they even credited the late payment and some interest so I'm really pleased with that. Thank you.
Also, while it's on my mind. I'm starting to feel like the old me again. This cold, the hectic time over xmas and the worry of money made me feel a bit out of it. I still have the cold, but I can feel my optimism returning to full force and can see myself looking for the next goal and challenge so watch this spaceDebt - CCV £3792

Had another thought (yes, I should be working).
With March's pay I aim to be sub 30k. That's this quarter's challenge.
By June's pay I would like to be sub 25k to stay on track of DFD.Debt - CCV £3792

Good afternoon
Glad big girl is good, maybe she just got tired and stumbled. We used to have a hoss that stumbled out hacking, mainly because he was too busy daydreaming or concentrating on something else (so nosy lol) that he forget about where his feet went :rotfl: stupid hoss, definitely not the sharpest pencil in the box.
Wayhey to new enthusiasm thats great, I have it so far this year and is really helping. And fab re those targets, the totals are shooting downDebt 13-1-25 - £39K!!!
