Morning all
Wednesday is upon us! Only 2 days left until the weekend and then invoice time for job 2. Still no extra work in so only have around £60 there this month. Better than before I did Job 2 though!
Yesterday's payments haven't processed yet though they have left my bank.
The kids are being collected and fed by Grandparents today so no tea to make for them. I'm doing a mince and rice dish for DH and myself - cheap and cheerful and surprisingly tasty.
We were chatting last night about moving (surprised?) and how we plan to get ready to move. DH said we don't actually own that much junk. He is right, but even so, it will take A LOT longer than he thinks to pack up and move out. I'm slowly starting to put together a plan for packing up. Yes, 2 years in the making but it might go smoothly if I plan now
Work wise - I have concerns that a member of the team is trying to cause trouble. Watch this space. I'll reserve judgement until I know more.
Nothing else to report really. Oh my lovely farrier is rasping the big girls front shoes to a rolled toe to see if that helps.Debt - CCV £3792

It's been totally dead this month, hasn't it? Apparently this is normal and it will start to pick up soon - fingers crossed.0

We got a quote from Pickfords when we relocated and it was about double that! Went with a cheaper local company in the end, although thankfully as the relocation was required for work, we didn't have to pay the bill! Horsebox and help from friends definitely the way forward!Total Starting Debt August 2014- £38,061

Well we will more than likely be moving a short distance. We love the area, have family, school and friends here etc etc. So I think a 3.5 tonne and my pick up will do the trick. Dad has an estate too so I think we should be ok between us. Lots of shorter trips don't worry me.
You watch, now we'll end up in Scotland with Caz!
I read that it's normal too Caz, so fingers crossed we'll be complaining about being overworked soon!Debt - CCV £3792

I'm seriously PO!
Fell out with DH last night and still today. We never fall out and even if we have a tiff, I can bever be bothered to continue it the next day. Not worth getting into the ins and outs of it. I am also really PO with myself as I got some work in last night but the email didn't come through to say until late and I didn't check the "queue" to see if anything was in (opposed to relying on an email to tell me) and I had something and I didn't get it done. I've had to go with my tail between my legs to tell them today - no reponse yet. Really PO there as I was waiting for something and when it comes, I didn't see it.
So this morning I am fully aware my face looks thunderous and that I am being short and snappy despite trying not to be. I hope it wears off as I hate feeling like this. I was awake at 3:30 too and didn't sleep properly since then.
All money is where it should be for now and I spent 70p this morning on breakfast.Debt - CCV £3792

Good Morning - it's Friday!
Thanks SS - I am feeling loads better.
The big girl has had her toes rolled so we are going to see if that helps. I think though, I have decided not to jump her again. I am gutted, we were doing do well, but if the time is here, it's here and I need to do what's right for her. The vet said we need to consider retiring her if she doesn't change. We are trialling bute to make sure it's not something pain related but again, something is telling me not to push her.
So it is even more important to hurry and get our own place to retire her on as even if it's not this time, the time will come. The business people around me have said to let her go completely - but that is not me. There is a lot of life left in the big girl and even if not ridden life, that to me makes no difference. It just means I will have to ask around for anyone needing their horses ridden (let's go for safe and sane!). Let's see how she goes but I'm coming to terms with it regardless as it's on the horizon, I just don't know how close. Her safety and mine is more important than getting a few extra months out of her ridden wise.
Plans for post 3pm finish today are collect kids, go to yard and ride 2 * ponies (DD) then jobs there. Home, tea for kids, showered. Washing on, carpets hoovered and quick tidy up. Then chillax with DH, film, tea for us and a drink or two. Hopefully a nice friendly night
Saturday is yard, home and no plans for the afty. Actually, Sunday is the same too.
It's DD's birthday a week on Saturday so I need to make her cake, when will be ok to make it? I'm just doing a finger cake - maybe Thursday? Or sponge Wed, ice Thurs? Too early?
So I think we'll have a look as to what we can do for free Sat and Sun pm so we don't waste the days. I'll have to go to Ald1 but that's all.Debt - CCV £3792

Fingers crossed the new trim helps. A friend of mine who was gutted when she had to retire her mare from ridden work last year is now having an absolute blast doing horse agility with her: http://www.thehorseagilityclub.com/your-club/great-britain/0
