I was thinking the same thing, I've been trying to go my hair for nearly two years and it's only just past shoulder length and not in the best condition!
Good job for doing what you need to with Job 2 and sorry to hear about the exam near miss. But at least you know what to expect for next time!

It was at trouser level so the top of my butt
It's now just below shoulder level and my head feels lighter lol.
Thank you re exam. Exactly as you say, I know what to expect now.Debt - CCV £3792

Right quick figures breakdown:
£6845 on CC 0%
£2540 on CC 0%
£9956 on Loan 1
£10414 on Loan 2
£745 on SLC
Loan 1 is sub 10k which is a great feeling and now the CC starts with a 6 I don't feel like I owe too much - weird when it's still 30.5k!
I can see the £2540 CC being pesky and hanging around. It only gets minimum attention for being so "low".

Morning
Last day of March and the end of quarter one of 2015. Therefore I thought I would take stock.
End of Dec my debt was £34123 ish and is now £30500 so a reduction of £3623. That seems like a small amount to me but I am hard on myself. Next 3 months won't be as much I don't think, given that the above includes my bonus. Bear in mind this is debt reduced by too, not all payments made, ie interest on loan. A 9.2% reduction from Dec's figures by my calculations. An overall reduction of 22.4% The year end will see me at 50% if my plans work out. A big IF.
My spreadsheet thinks I will be £26813 by 2nd quarter but this will change as payments come out and life happens but it's good to aim.
Next money update from work will be at the end of April.Debt - CCV £3792

You are doing brilliantly, don't do yourself down!
Interest is such a PITA, we are so lucky that we are only paying very minimal interest on our debts as it does make such a difference.
Definitely good to aim high (or low haha!), even when I don't hit the targets I set myself I still end up paying off more than I would have done had I not been ambitious!

Very true. It's only my loans I pay interest on and it makes no difference to the end date but as you say a huge PITA!
Tonight I am doing my usual couple of hours for work (you know which job now that I only have one lol - I do 5 hours from home over 3 nights) but I will also finish my Mam's scarf that I've been knitting as it's an Easter gift. That with a bunch of daffs and tulips will be lovely to take round as she's making us Easter lunch.Debt - CCV £3792

Right, a productive afternoon it seems. I will get a bit more done with tonight's couple of hours. I want to get through my to do list for work before I finish on Thursday so that I can enjoy my time off without feeling that there's something left undone. Going well so far.
I've also tentatively proposed end of Sept for next exam. I get busy work wise in Oct - Dec so this seems the best option.
Tea tonight is made for me and freeMy lovely parents have had the kids for the day and send them home with curry and trimmings. Yum. Starving so can't wait. On that note, I'm going to head home and crack on.

Morning all
Well it's Wednesday which means I finish tomorrow for a week and a bit - can you tell I am super excited!!! We have plans, the kids have picked some free things to do, we have pony play days arranged, riding lesson and spring cleaning so it shall be full to the brim and making the most of every single second.
I'm going to cook a lot of things for the freezer, make some yummy soups, bake and generally live and eat well for as little as possible. I also hope to do some planning and reading on things that we'd like to do when we get the farm such as pig/goat/small animal keeping and what insurances I'd need to run holiday livery and so on.
On top of that we are going to have a major declutter and sell. I've already started listing on ebay and will try to get most things listed by Friday so that they will be sold (or not) by the time I go back to work. Anything unsold will go to charity.Debt - CCV £3792
