A productive morning studying on a topic I found interesting so that definitely helped. I'm going to do a mock test on it now to see how I manage, then get on with the reports I need to get done plus the meeting I have in for this afty. That should see me nicely to the end of the office day.

I've put the slow cooker on and prepared the spuds for tea too so feeling slightly more organised after being away last week.

    Good morning world

Well last night DH and I had a fall out again. We have gone from having none, ever, to a few in a short space of time. He seemed very short tempered and stroppy and he said some things to me which I didn't take well so argument ensued and more words were exchanged and we've not spoken since. He's off work atm recovering from his op. He hasn't text me and I'm too stubborn to text him. I sound 12!

Anyway, diet news, it's all going well and I'm feeling the physcial benefit from it already. I feel thinner which sounds crazy but it's just the water and bloated feeling leaving me which the last few weeks over indulgence has brought on. I am always amazed at how cutting bread out for a while helps. Shame I love it so much :D I'm not feeling like I am missing out on anything so all is good there.

Tonight I will have to get diesel so will put in £30 which might see me through to pay day as tomorrow is the last day in the office for a week plus. I will go to Ald1 tonight or tomorrow for some top up items with my last £10!

Hope everyone's well, I'm off to grumble under my breath and do 2 hours study.

  • Sorry to hear you have fallen out with DH. Perhaps being stuck at home after his op is making him grumpy. Also, my husband always seems to get a bit snippy with me whenever I'm away for a few days!

Well I've had a bit of a reality check since I posted this morning. For those who've been with me a while, they will remember this time last year my mum had breast cancer and my husband had a breakdown, at the same time. A colleague's mum has the same cancer at the same time. Her mum died yesterday.
I am very lucky to have what I have and silly arguments are really just that. I won't text to try and resolve it as it may make it worse, I'll just see him when I get home but I will make the first move to make up. Hopefully that will be the end of any silly arguments as it's really 'just not us'.

    Counting my blessings :)

Another day is upon us and for that I am pleased :) All is back to normal at home thankfully.

Pony was ok ish last night. He is testing DD again after months of going well. We're getting the big girl's saddle checked in a couple of months (first available appointment!) so I will get his checked but I suspect by then he will be ok as will be mostly living out. Also their teeth are getting done at the end of the month. Anyway - we're putting a stronger bit in tonight as he does keep taking off even though it's not as bad so a couple of sessions with a stronger bit may do the trick, but as always trial and error.

A bit of a weird week this week with DH being off. Although it shouldn't affect me, my routine is going a bit to pot lol. I think really I want to be off too! Also I'm tired today as didn't have a great sleep.

I've decided when we move I'm going to treat us all to a few new things, not holidays, clothes and accessories lol - we need new saucepans, kitchen brush, duvets, horse rugs to name a few. They are all on their way out so as soon as I am DF I will be splitting the normal debt payment, half to savings, half to new things.

Today I have one meeting only - the rest can be split between the day job and studying plus a few sneaky peeks at the spreadsheet to see if something miraculous may have happened such as I've found 32k overnight :)

  • I always wish I'd found £32k overnight, but somehow it never happens - hope you're luckier than I am!!

I'll diet along with you if you like? Before Christmas I'd lost about a stone, but gradually put most of it back on. So a week and a half ago I got all healthy again and so far I've dropped to 11 stone 5, two more lb and il back to where I was, from there I need to drop to at least 10.2 ish!? I eat limited brown bread, fruit, crackers, spaghetti Bol without ready made sauces and not cooked in oil, bake pots etc. basically it's a lazy version of the slimming world extra easy. When I fancy a treat like chocolate or cake I just drink a glass of water and if that's not doing it I have a healthy extra. I works for me and I feel so much lighter.
    Let's do it! :)

    Morning diary landers

Cwtchie - absolutely - I am a similar weight and have similar goals so that sounds great :) Let's do it!

Just a quick update from me this morning as it's my final countdown to the exam on Friday. I'm supposed to have all week as study but then have a workshop 3-9 today so how does that work! I'm not feeling 100% this morning either but will crack on regardless.

Bonus comes through on Wed, just in time as I've had serious technical issues with laptops and breadmakers this weekend! Not sure if either will be replaced as money is going to debt.

So for now, I'm still here :D but studying as hard as I can so won't be on with my usual big posts (you can breathe a sigh of relief LOL).

    Take care all
