Boiler is working :j:j Now I know what to look for if it breaks down again and they're denying being able to find the fault ;) The installation faults are not dangerous etc but need to be dealt with so the parts are on order and it'll be fixed and 100% up to current code when they arrive :D The gas man said the BG man appeared to have done everything the hard and most costly way :o:mad: Going to cancel the contract now, and then wait to see how much they're going to charge me for the call out

Now I need to clean the bathroom (filters in the boiler needed cleaning!), put my bedroom back together and catch up on the washing up :o But first I really need to eat as my stomach is making growling noises :o

Hello all - welcome to newbies and returners :):)

put away and washed up this morning - ready for another round in the kitchen. I did a ton of batch cooking and getting ahead yesterday so I now have cooked chicken ready to turn into curry tonight, a gammon cooked and shredded ready for sandwiches and later soup in the chicken stock I made last night with the remnants, blitzed up roast peppers ready to turn into HM pizza sauce, and 2 dinners worth of chilli in the freezer :j phew!

Managed to soak some beans overnight, boiled up this morning in and whacked in the sc today. I'll portion up and freeze those later today.

    WM done

I've got 5 kids in the house today due to teacher training day so we've been to soft play this morning. I've given them sandwiches and now they're watching a film so I can crack on now I've had my sarnie :D

    thanks for the lists!

Have also been to collect application forms for local gym for me and DD to join so will fill those out later and take back tomorrow.

This year would also like to start to learn piano so going to allocate 30mins a day to that if possible instead of lounging on couch.
Would also like to stop and read a book a fortnight should be doable, need to find a good read.
DD also gave us a memory book of our holiday to new York and Florida last August for Christmas but not complete so will try to do a page a week to finish it has got 4000 pictures to choose from

It feels so good to write it down so onwards and upwards hope everyone has a good day.

Tue: Bin Day, clear rubbish from my room (broken toys etc from purging bedrooms), IM appoint 10am (walking so leave at 9am), quick errands in town with cash, Newsletter for work & put books out if possible (can be Wednesday if necessary),
Wed: Meter readings (to do at 10.30am exactly 1 year to the date/time from last years January reading ;))
    Thu: Order to submit
