New flylady reporting for duty *waves* It's part of my New Year's resolutions to be more involved in keeping our flat tidy - I'm lucky enough to have an OH who likes cleaning but equally aware I don't do enough around the house so hoping flying will help me to get on top of it and mean it's less of a tip!
I'm at work until 5 PM today but will see how much I can get done once I get home...
Monday ~ Kitchen and Dining area
15 minutes...
Sweep and mop the floors - DONE
Clear and wipe the worksurfaces - DONE
39 minutes to spare...
Wash the units and appliances - had a kitchen cleaning blitz of the hob and sink on Friday but couldn't hurt to go over again
Give the pan cupboard a good scrub out.. fling the plastic tubs with no lids/botttoms/broken - no pan cupboard (they live on the hob due to tiny kitchen) but will clean the plastic tub cupboard instead
Wipe over window sills and shine the taps
Got an hour...
Sort paperwork, warranties, insurance docs, phone contracts etc into a file so they are easily accessible and make notes of when things need renewing! - already got one of these but have a few bits I need to file eg for things I bought over Christmas, payslips etc
Clean table and add a clean cloth if needed
Dust and deweb
Extras- Binbag dance
- Thoroughly clean a small appliance (descale kettle/decrumb toaster for example)
- Make sure diaries/calendars are up to date with appointments!!!

Dundeedoll -- binbag dance = stick on some music and fill a binbag! There's probably a better explanation in post one
but that's the general idea

Hi All
Long time no post, but I'm in. Finally kicked the house into some semblance of tidiness, I can actually let people inside now. :j
So, I want to keep it that way. I know from old Flylady will do that for me.
Some of you ol timers may know it's been a tricky time for me over the last 18mths, but without being boring to those who haven't a clue who I am, I'll just say I'm on the mend now
Going to attempt the list and see how I go.

Hello all
Happy new year to you all. Welcome to the newbies and returners.
Thanks for the lists this week Natty
I'm afraid I've not caught up with everyone's news, so hugs, spoons and sticks all round.
My aims for 2015:
Move back to my 'home' town. Was meant to do it last year but with my nan passing, trades people letting me down it didn't happen. This year it will.
New job
Eat more healthily, not dieting, but eating better. Hopefully this will help me lose the extra stone I'm needlessly carrying around.
Exercising regularly - 15 mins a day minimum on the wii and then joining a gym once I've moved.
Complete my 28 mile walk in one day for Macmillan (that happens in July), I've started training for it now.
Will report back later, after the paid stuff.
