  • Hi :hello:

Thanks Natty and Dusty for respective lists and here's hoping that for the next two weeks I'll be able to do at least a little bit of flying. I've got to go on a course on the other side of town, starting at 10.00 and finishing about 3.00/4.00, ( to both times!). Also got to remember to call in at @ldi (it's only a few minutes walk away) and stock up. I am being good re: transport though. The bus company does a ticket which can be used for 7 consecutive days to go anywhere in the city and costs £12, so will get one for each week.

Anyway, on to nicer things ..... Bonnie, good to see you posting again; hope all is well in the Pigpen house and Bossy, the cake looked absolutely scrumptious. Oh, and also, (blows fanfare) my ironing basket is empty!

  • Hi!

I'm back for another try, don't think I lasted the week last time, but previous to that I did quite well. :) OH and I are determined to sort ourselves out over the next few years, so this time I shouldn't be going it alone. A bit of support with my Fly will definitely make a difference.

    Morning all
Thank you for the lists natty and dusty, I'm in again and planning to be in properly this week and from here on in!
Hope all are well. Hugs good wishes positive vibes sticks and spoons where needed.
Welcome to the new year flyers and the returners.
Glad the party went well bossy
Lynne I love your resolution of 365 good deeds and random acts of kindness. I try occasionally when the opportunity arises. Things like leaving a £1 or token in a trolley or the little ducks. I find paying people compliments a funny one some people really don't take them well and usually put themselves down. I told the barmaid her nails looked lovely when me an. DH nipped in. For a pint she looked really embarrassed, and said oh they aren't real I have to wear fakes to hide my chewed stubs. LOL wasn't the outcome I was after.
I'm in work this morning for a 1st aid refresher course and DH is back at work today but school doesn't start properly till tomorrow really.
My resolution is to be more positive and try not to worry so much and not to let one thing take over, I want to comp craft read and fly in equal measures not let one become an obsession and take over all my time.
Little and often will be my mantra I think. My day will need dividing equally.
And time on Pinterest read motivational quotes needs to be limited;)

    Hi All

I am still on modified hours at work so doing 10-3 this week, please count me in.

Thanks Natty for the list and I too hope your arm is improving.
    Thanks Dusty for last week.

    Pigpen - hang in there

Nicki - I am confused by your boiler as if the LL is reimbursing you for getting BG out he should also be the one sorting the boiler. My understanding is all LLs need a boiler inspection certificate. I cant understand why you would have had it installed.

LW - I agree you and Mr LW seem an amazing team. As I walk the dog or visit the market I do sometimes see a lady in a scooter and occasionally wonder if it is you but of course am too polite to ask.

    Morning All

Well back to work today and I don't feel ready for it at all. Reduced hours though so I should be back for 2.30 but I may be ready to collapse into a heap then. DD has just come downstairs and said 'haven't I ironed her a shirt?', I told her that I'd told her to get her uniform together yesterday in case any of it needed ironing and all her shirts are in her BR. However they may need ironing so she may bring me one down in a minute.

I'll see what I get done when I get home tonight if I don't collapse.

    Have a good day all

    Hugs

  • Hi have just lost a post as mse page froze - grr!

I am in - thanks for threads Dusty and Natty - hope you are recovering well, Natty.

DH in bed after coming down with a cold on way home yesterday - what are the chances of me not getting it after being cooped up with him in a car with denial and sneezing violently on and off for five hours? !!!!

Need to do monthly banking, week's shopping and then the washing mountain that I have brought home. After that it'll be the kitchen#!
At least I managed to put all the contents of our car away last night before retiring to bed - but then couldn't sleep!

Think I may pinch your 5 resolutions LJK, if that's OK please - but I won't join with the Spanish!

A good deed a day could just be passing the time of day with an elderly person. I find in the ch shop they often like to have a little chat.

Welcome to all newbies. May post my personal list later but will not post the main list in order to keep my posts shorter - or attempt to!

Morning everyone, thanks for thread Natty. Back to work this morning but DS isnt back to school until tomorrow. I will need to make sure he checks his planner to see if any homework needs doing.

I did the kitchen floor last night but there are still a few other bits to do - and lots of paperwork to finish. Need to get OHs monthly invoices done.

Oh and a trip to L*dl too, its going to be a busy day!

Thanks for the new thread Natty.

Getting up this morning was one of the hardest things I've ever had to do!

Really good day yesterday, gutted the littlies bedroom. 2 black sacks of rubbish, 1 sack for CS, pile of good items for E B A Y. Outgrown clothes edited from cupboards and drawers. It's amazing how productive I can be when football is postponed and I'm not driving all over the county.

Busy day today. 2 lots of paid work up to 2pm then be home for grocery delivery, then dog walk combined with school pick up. Out babysitting at 6.30 so must get organised!

Good luck everyone this week. Don't worry if you struggle, it will come round again next week.
