Hi everyone. I'm back.
We finally got back home to Scotland after 2 nightmare years in Birmingham where I couldn't see the point in much flying. This place is a bit neglected so I'm starting the year flying with a vengeance.
I have been reading so I don't have too much to catch up on. LW:wave: Glad to hear you have had furfriends. Who is next?
Dusty and Natty thanks for the lists. You have all given me a chuckle during some very dark times. Particularly bossymoo and the little moos. Ionafan I hope your friend is improving.
Anyway, I'd better start as I mean to go on. I will report back.Goals - Weight loss 6/26lb at 22nd Jan 18Mmmm. 26lb at 1/7/18. Oops:o0 -
I'm in.
DS and DH have already left for work. DD1 is not in until Wednesday and in theory DD2 and I return tomorrow. We shall have to see how she is today. Most of today's washing is DD2 related, and she didn't even get dressed. She hasn't woken me overnight, so fingers crossed she slept.
So today is washing, a couple of frog phone calls and a trip to the bank, followed by volunteering at the charity shop this afternoon. I will report back later. I am hoping to sit down tonight in time to watch Broadchurch. Fingers crossed that it is as good as the last series...:jFlylady and proud of it:j0 -

Hello FurryBeast. Good to 'see' you again.
So far today I've dewebbed dining room and done some dusting, and put the hoover round quickly downstairs. Time to get dressed, walk the dogs and then the dreaded paid stuff. Apparently I'm doing 3 roles and have to put 12 hours a week to each, hahahahahahahahaSpend less now, work less later.0 -
I'm in again. Thanks for the lists Dusty and Natty.
Must remember to ring DB later. It was his birthday yesterday and I fell asleep so didn't ring him.
Glad it's all back to normal now. I'm starting to get birds to the feeders now. I get a robing regularly and had a thrush yesterday.
Welcome to the returners and newbies.0 -

Good morning ladies (& gents?) I am in a surprisingly good mood even though both DD's are grumpy moos, DD2 due to being tired "couldn't get to sleep last night" and DD1 because she had to walk to work this morning :rotfl: as my car is poorly
maybe now she'll start to appreciate what I do for her!
Today I have to - phone the garage.
Message my waxing lady to cancel my appointmentas I won't be able to get there now.

Morning all
DH and DS1 away to work
Kitchen cat beds all hoovered and bedding changed, same with kitchen sofa and throw. Want to make sure there is no sign of fleas as I don't want to treat the little ones if I can help it.
Off for a shower now and then on the grand shoe hunt.
FBO good to see you back.
Good luck for all those returning to jobs, especially in education. The birds of sadness may fly overhead but don't let them nest in your hair0 -
Having read the fly lady threads for over a year now I think it s time I de lurked and actually did something :rotfl:
If I had acted on what I had read all this time my house would be spotless. Unfortunately that is not the case and I need it to be clean and decluttered before the French exchange student comes in April.
Thank you for all the lists and the work that goes into compiling them all. I have to say I feel that I 'know' most of you on here and it seems like a nice friendly place to be.
So I am off to start with the kitchen ...saving for ds2's summer international scout camp - £200
£60 deposit paid :j £100 paid:j £40 paid:j0 -
Morning all, back to work bleuh. Thanks dustykitten my job is in education. still, managed before setting off to clear and wipe worksurfaces (due to being pretty clear already) and sort 4 drawers!!! 4 tupperware lids lacking bases to go. Swept kitchen floor yesterday (oh it's sooo much quicker when tidy) Did units last week but will clean dishwasher this evening - 1/2 cup white vinegar on hot does a very good job. Also hoping to do saucepan drawers, but have last party of the season tonight it being epiphany.
