Morning everyone - I caught up! - but it is in one eye and out the other, sorry.
Welcome to more newbies.
Yesterday I caught up with the washing - and have now found more!!!
This morning it is first weigh-in after NY and my new "job" as "pay lady" so bound to be really busy. Must get there early but it sounds horrid outside.
Sad news as my second cousin died just before Xmas - we wondered why we hadn't received a card. She was only 66 and not local to us.
Feeling quite down today - not exactly sure why - so may go off thread for a while until I sort myself out.
Take care each and every one of you. xJuly 16 £95/£200

Good morning all...
So I'm busy at the moment trying to lure my 12yo DS out of his pit! He slept most of yesterday and I couldn't keep him awake passed 7pm so off he went... And he's still sleeping! He's honestly sleeping about 14hours at a time! He's in for a shock tomorrow when he's back to school!
Off to put the kettle on and find a list xSometimes lurking, sometimes posting, but always flying

Hi,
A newbie here! I've spent the last few weeks lurking around various boards and one in particular has really helped so thought I'd join in a few more to help me become more organised and productive in 2015. Its even more important as I run a business from my kitchen. Yesterday at work I discovered I have Friday off (I work Monday and Friday), my 5 yearold is back to school, and I only have one cake booked in so I plan to not only work through today's challenges but also yesterday's!Overdraft: [STRIKE]£529[/STRIKE] £199 BC: [STRIKE]£697.82[/STRIKE] £1974.02 MBNA: [STRIKE]£1874[/STRIKE] £517.00 -
Hugs to just the two of us....
Morning all. DD2 has gone to work - 2 days in bed may just have got her over the worst of this bug. However DH is off sick today. Feel like sticking a cross on the door....
I don't feel particularly well, but will battle on... Back to work for me today - hoping that it doesn't rain. The prospect of a wet lunchtime playtime is not a happy one....:jFlylady and proud of it:j0 -
Me again, dogs walked, downstairs hoovered and recycling and rubbish sorted out. Paid stuff now beckons.Spend less now, work less later.0

The house next door (across from the alleyway) is being cleared out! :j Down side is apparently its full of rats  Think hoarders with things piled up against the windows etc.:eek: I am not looking forward to the fall out. House looking much better already. Living room in reasonable shape, so will keep on top of that and do some sorting of gibble from the top of the microwave hotspot. OH & I fell asleep after dinner last night, so the blardy Christmas tree is still in the living room. I'm going to attempt to drag it out through the living room back door. I'm still pretty weak, so it may end up waiting till later.
Hope everyone's feeling ok today. Happy flying folks

hugs and condolences to you JTTOU, such a shock getting news like that out of the blue.
Nicki, keep your door shut as much as you can while the flat over from you is being cleared. hugs and coping vibes to you as well must be rather stressful worrying about it.
started with good intentions, reaslied id still got all of last years cards (they'd been put away with the deccys, so made a start going through those and this years that need recycling or can be used as gift tags postcards etc. so have piles of cards on the table. then once DS2 left for school i got the files down out of the hall, 2 years worth of scouts paperwork and letters, a load of school related papers, general post that for some reason has been stuffed up there so i got all that down and now have a nie big pile to recycle, some free gift toys off the front of mags that can go in the class 'treat' box, a couple of tennis balls for the playground and a toys that has come home with me from school by accident to return. a hair brush and a car air freshner got binned.
My tabbard has come through the wash so charity badges pinned back on and stuff put back in pockets. so today im armed with stickers, first aid bag all orgainsed and i know which pocket has everything in. nice to start organinsed i usually end up looking like a kangaroo by half term as i get so much stuff added to my pockets i have to hold it all in if i need to run across the yard.
overnight washing should be dry in an hour or so so have started the wm again to replace it on line.
anyone want to do a HHC at 9.30 im going to clear the piles off the hall floor and the tableSPC~12 ot 124

MIL has told our headmaster he needs to do something about parents swearing in the schoolyard
He doesn't seem the type to like being "told" lol but he didn't reckon on meeting my MIL heheh.
She said there were "F"'s and "C"'s and all kinds of foul language and she didn't like it, nor did she want her grandchildren hearing it! Go MIL!
Hosp appointment confirmed so flying relegated until after kiddies in bed.Bossymoo

I promise that I have been working and even the girls said they could see it! But none of it seems to be coming off the lists
and by the time I actually write my post I can't remember what I've done
:(
I spent a lot of yesterday sorting through old paperwork, and trying to shred it. My poor shredder has had several panic attacks and over heated and stopped working so it's slow goingI have 2 carriers of shreds so far and I guesstimate at least 4 more to go
What makes it worse is the paper collection isn't til next week! And I'm over flowing. I'd normally take it to the tip but as my car's poorly I can't risk it. The car's got to make it to the garage on Wednesday yet
This morning I've picked up large painted boxes from kitchen floor. DD1 is painting "buildings" for boyfriend's nephew's super hero party at the weekend. Child's mother is so disorganised that DD1 seems to have taken over to get it done  Emptied half the airer. Unloaded, reloaded and put on the DW. Shredded some paper til the shredder wouldn't play anymore. Cursed my messy children. Changed cat litter. Mopped up cat pee  Cursed the cats! Mopping of bathroom floor where peeing took place will wait til after I've drunk my cold coffee that I forgot about
