So customer is sending back the items without original packaging which is not helpful.
What is the tracking on the labels Ebay provides, do I have to sign for the package as I am normally out when the postman calls...
When I refund is this added to my bill or does it come straight out of Paypal?
You might have to sign, it depends if it is sent via CollectPlus or Royal Mail Tracked. The latter doesn't need a signature and both labels are offered to the customer.
As for the charge, you will (or should) see it on your Ebay fees invoice. They don't just take it out of paypal.0 -
I have now received the headphones back - 2 pairs. And I have inspected them.
It must have taken a considerable amount of force to snap them as I have tried snapping them in the same place on the other side and they have not broken despite applying a fair bit of pressure.
Is there anything I can do now prior to refunding? I can't add anything to the request now - is it worth phoning Ebay again?0 -
I thought eBay were supposed to have seller protection nowadays? Has anyone tried it?0

Just escalated and lost. The decision was made literally within about 2 minutes so I doubt very much that my side was even considered. Looks like I don't get my FVF back either!!
Well done Ebay for well and truly ruining my day!0 -
They don't care about sellers, no need when there are millions of Chinese sellers to replace you."Love you Dave Brooker! x"

I am fuming! I will probably get a neg from the buyer as well. Ebay has been nothing but headaches recently. Think I need to find something less frustrating!
I naively thought I had a chance of a no fault refund...0 -

The only no fault refund is if they use the returns system and seller refunds without escalating.I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the eBay, Auctions, Car Boot & Jumble Sales, Boost Your Income, Praise, Vents & Warnings, Overseas Holidays & Travel Planning , UK Holidays, Days Out & Entertainments boards.
