  • Loughton Monkey predictions for 2015 dated 1st January 2015:

    1. Ukraine will launch an attack on Russia.
    2. Paris coffee lovers will raid a Paris Cafe full of 30 ISIS terrorists
    3. Malaysian airlines to sweep the board at the annual aviation safety awards.
    4. England to win the Cricket World Cup with biggest whitewash ever.
    5. UKIP to fall into obscurity. Nigel Farage forced to work in Kebab shop.
    6. Jeremy Clarkson to be knighted, raised to the House of Lords, and becomes Pope.
    7. IMF audit reveals world banks to have eliminated sleaze, fraud, tax evasion, market fixing, insider trading, and hidden charges forever.

OK. You did better than me so far. But we have another 9 months to go!
  • For some reason I don't appear to have made a 2015 prediction, which is probably just as well.;)

I'll leave it to Hamish to start the 2016 thread, as he's rather good at that sort of thing!

For some reason I don't appear to have made a 2015 prediction,
    !

  • I predict that " Crashy Time " will continuously post about how Edinburgh house prices have actually dropped yoy since he started to rent, and in fact his rent has actually dropped 906% to £37 pcm in 2015.......

"Squeaky" will once again prove virtually everyone wrong with his razor sharp analytical skills using only the tools of rightmove and property bee, "Squeaky" will demonstrate how the property crash has befallen the HPI addicts based on 2 asking prices on 1 street in Harringay....... 2015 THE YEAR OF THE HPC CREW :T

I did OK, I haven't frequented the forum much this year, so I'm not sure if bubble and squeak still posts his nonesense... I should have predicted that he would disappear after his predictions predictably turn out to be 100% incorrect.

    Bubbles has gone quiet indeed.
But the void left by him is more than filled by his HPC buddy Crashy and his incoherent ramblings.
Now we're waiting for Crashy to do a 'geneer', jump into his Tardis and buy in 2009. :rotfl:

You were bang on the money. How did you know oil was going to tank ?
Proudly voted remain. A global union of countries is the only way to commit global capital to the rule of law.

I'd love to say that it was because the SNP are such a massive contra-indicator that simply taking the opposite position to them will make you money :D

The reality is that I saw the huge amounts of supply coming onstream and what was going on in OPEC and couldn't see what was going to support prices in the face of all that. It'll get worse before it gets better for oilies too.
