You obviously haven't read the "advice of others", because that's not what you need to do.0

I've been having problems porting my number over to Vodaphone and similar issues to others here with numerous false promises about when the port will occur or when someone will call me back. Hugely disappointed and inconvenienced by this. Been waiting over a week now and have called them over 9 times already.
What a joke. I will take advice of the others and post on every forum, email consumer action and the rest.
Do NOT port your number over to Vodafone, this is the worst mistake you can make. I have been having porting issues for 10 days now and Vodafone don't have a clue as to what they're doing. They're running multiple systems and their staff are clueless. I am trying to leave vodafone because they haven't turned data on on my tariff due to a porting issue which has occurred as a result of a problem on Vodafone's internal systems. They are refusing to give me my PAC code which is against OFCOM regulations and to be honest I think Vodafone laughs in the face of fines and enquiries from OFCOM.0 -

Do NOT take out a contract with Vodafone, they are messing up ports left, right and centre, they are the WORST company to deal with and this explains why they came last in customers surveys and OFCOM log of complaints. I have been trying to get my PAC code from them for 10 days now, they can't even find my number on their system (even though my number is on their sim card) - they're happy to charge me line rental. I have spent over 50 hours on the phone with them and it's been completely useless - they claim that the only way for them to contact the porting department is by email, this is ridiculous. IF there was a porting issue with Jeroen Hoencamp sim card, are you telling me they'd take 3 months to resolve it ?0 -

This should be a grave warning to anyone that is seeking to join Vodafone, never in my entire life have I dealt with such an insincere and dishonest company.
From 10 days ago I have not had a proper service. The first three days of this I was able to receive incoming calls. Despite numerous calls to customer service no one was able to help or tell me when I would be able to receive calls. I then went to a Vodafone store and they suggested a SIM swap should rectify the issue. I was told the next day that this was done incorrectly so another SIM swap was initiated. 24hours passed and when contacting customer services I was told that that SIM swap was also wrong. I was advised to go back to the store for another SIM swap.low and behold I have been told that SIM swap was executed incorrectly.
Customer services told me that they corrected the sil swap and I would be up and running with 24 hours. For the last 4 days I have heard the same story and everyone blames the previous operator for the supposed error.
I am appalled by the lack of competency by all the staff I have spoken to. No one has resolved my issue and I am stuck as what to do.
I have wasted over 10 hours and spoken to at least 20 people about this issue to no avail.
I regret joining Vodafone, they are a dishonest company who have caused me much stress and lack the basics in customer services.0 -
Follow the usual advice to contact the Web Relations Team. See post 15.0

Glad to help. Unfortunately Vodafone doesn't get any better and the Web Relations Team are the only people who try to sort anything out, as opposed to making things worse.0
