My February Update on what i want to achieve in 2015:
1. Pay off my debt to family (£2800) - £1080 of this has been saved so far. I initially thought i owed £2200 but i forgot about another little bit. But i am slowly getting there with paying this debt off. I have now got a permanent job role and a bonus from the job I'm leaving so hopefully this will help pay a lump of it off more quickly :j
2. Build my emergency fund back up to at least £1000- This is now sitting at £306, but at the end of the month when i get paid as well as receiving my bonus I'm going to put every spare penny i have into this and a lump of my debt... i think i may even reach the £1000 :T
3. Improve my grades at lead climbing (i rock climb as a hobby) - As i said in my January post all I've done since New Year is climb indoors, and so my grades are coming along nicely
4. Climb outdoors- I had a trip to the lake District last weekend, and the hope was if the weather was nice enough id maybe be able to climb. instead we walked up Buttermere Haystacks. The weather was AMAZING. Best views whist eating some dinner at the Summit.
5. Start & finish the patchwork quilt my sister bought for me many christmases ago (my mam bought me a sewing machine for christmas, so no excuses) I picked up the quilt from my mams house as planned but haven't started this yet. I've been so busy on weekends. But thats no excuse! I will find time!
Well done everyone on making progress with your goals so far!Mortgage Feb 2023- £249,210 MFW 2023 #20: £524.05/£500 (104.81%)0 -
