Wow that's quite a while to wait Milliebob how frustrating! Fingers crossed he might not even need to do it.

So it's CD1 for me, started spotting at 12dpo and AF reared her ugly face today as expected. Onto month 7 and feeling gutted. Feel like I need to join a 6 month+ thread (although I don't think one exists). Sometimes I really just feel like chucking the OPKs and thermometer away, not tracking and just seeing what happens but I'd need something else to keep my mind occupied so I don't think that'll happen. Starting to feel exhausted with it all :(

Sorry for not updating the list today - I've had a hectic weekend and not been able to get to the pc. Will be away in London all day tomorrow so may or may not be able to do it tomorrow either. If anyone is on the pc and able to do it for me it would be appreciated. Just quote my post, remove the quote at beginning and end, and move the numbers on a day.

    Hugs to all on Cd1.

  • cats so frustrating isn't it! I'm thinking of temping as now paranoid I'm not ovulating. Think my husband will have a heart attack soon with all this tracking lol.

alex I know the feeling. 7 months but only 5 cycles but still frustrating when my sister tells me how she conceived first time with both hers :( my mum also conceived easily apparently.

Hugs to all. Please update me to CD1 as Af officially arrived.

Just an update from me. I THINK I ovulated on Thursday (only because I had what I think are ovulation pains), but could be wrong. Given up with the OPK's!
  • Hello everyone :)

Think I OV'd yesterday had another positive OPK the day before and "felt" like I OV'd Ovila is saying the same too. So I think I am now FINALLY in the TWW only BD'd once though so don't think my chances are high but just glad my body seems to be working :D

Also got app for scan in a few weeks :)

    hugs to everyone xx

    Hi All,

Great to see the thread so busy!

Sending hugs to those with AF.

Millie that's madness about the 3 month wait for the appointment. Hope you don't need it!

CD13 0DPO here - I've ov'd earlier this month for me (normally day 18/19) so wondering if the acupuncture has had something to do with it - think it can help anyhow! Was surprised to get a pos opk yesterday and had to rearrange my day a bit to BD.

Into the 2ww again tomorrow... wow time if flying.

Hoping for some BFPs this week to cheer us all up! Fingers crossed for you all Xx

Clara I had a couple of quite long cycles after coming off the pill, AF showed up eventually so I knew I was onto new cycle. All very confusing though

Seems like quite a few people have ov over the past few days - hope there's been plenty bding going on ;)

CD15 temp down a bit again today, so not convinced that I have ov yet (if I do at all!!) Guess I just have to keep going with bbt & opks & hope for the best!!
  • Hey all

Is that an NHS waiting time Millie or private? Either way, fingers crossed you don't need it. I think this year is flying anyway.

Alex, please don't leave, I'm sure some people here are 6 months + or heading there so are all in this together. Sending hugs.

Also sending hugs to those with AF

AFM, I have only had that one positive OPK which was Friday so we have been BDing as much as possible and it is a bit of a relief that OH doesn't have to travel back next week mid week as that was going to be a bit of a hassle for him. I am assuming that it's pointless using the OPKs now?

I joined Fertility Friend as I thought it might help to look at my symptoms on a chart rather than in a diary (kept since 01 01 16). From that, it is saying I am 1 DPO. It's feeling good to see that I am a bit more in the know this month, although I know a positive OPK is just a guide. My temps are too erratic to go on those too.

Rachy some people carry on testing after they've had a positive but I don't see the point, I always stop. I count ovulation day as the day after a positive opk.

I'm 8dpo today and I know I do this every blinking month but I feel different! The main thing I've noticed is my sense of smell, it's stronger and things are making me feel sick! For example, the smell of the water when having the car washed today, I was literally gipping! And I'm making cheeseburgers for dinner and the cheese tastes weird, and it's usually my favourite!
