Hi. Just trying to catch up on here. I've been taking just folic acid as the nurse told me to do so. Bought the pregnancare pre conception but take them hit and miss to be honest!

Personal question time... Straight after BD'g does a lot of the sperm come out? I've tried lying there for ten minutes after but I feel like it's not staying in! (Sorry!)
Hey Apple, yeah I've thought the same but not wanted to ask in case it sounded gross/stupid, but generally it doesn't seem like much of it stays in there...

Millie the exact same thing happened to me yesterday!! A friend at work took me to one side to let me know she was 11 weeks (all fine had an early scan)... I was also very happy for her but cried all the way home. At least I have a heads up now for the scan photo being sent round next week. 2 of my good work colleagues are preg now and it really does sting... I just want to join them so much. I can't stop thinking about them sharing their mat leave together and going on lovely days out and lunches and me being still stuck in the office....

But it's Friday and almost the weekend so trying to keep my chin firmly up. Sending lots of love xx

Lady at work today took me aside to tell me she's pregnant. They caught first month. She knows I've been trying a while which is why she told me on my own. I am very happy for her because she's a friend but when she left me alone I had a good cry, then struggled to keep it together for the rest of the day. I don't want to go work tomorrow now, just want to curl up in a ball under the duvet and cry.

So sorry for the late response Pinkpetal - your news about your Dad must have been devastating. I hope that you get your BFP soon. xx

Hugs to cats for CD1, but well done for staying so positive about your cycle lengths.

Hugs also to Milliebob - I'm glad that your colleague was sensitive enough to tell you privately, and that you had the chance to cry alone too. It sucks that you had to hold it together for the rest of the day though - that must have been really hard. I hope that you've had lots of cuddles since you've been home.

I had another sucky day here too, as my sister had her 20 week scan today. I should be less than 8 weeks away from having Poppy right now, so it's been really hard for me. I'm very relieved that she found out that she's having a boy rather than a girl, as that has eased my mind slightly. My IBS has flared up as a result of all of the stress of building up to today and finding out, so I've not been sleeping properly, so that probably hasn't helped.

Thanks sexymouse! They're putting him on a clinical trial for a new treatment so we're all trying to stay positive!

Millie, that must have been upsetting for you but nice of her to take you aside and tell you one to one. I've found out in the last week that two of my cousins have just started trying. We're all really close so I'm torn between being really happy for them and anxious that they'll both end up catching before us! Terrible I know!

choc that's great about the opk!

mouse well done for getting through yesterday and for updating the lists.

insider I have a similar situation with a male friend who is getting married soon and his fianc!e is coming off the pill this month... I'm terrified they will catch before us and it will make things mega awkward... x

Sexymouse massive hugs, you're so supportive and a wonderful person, I'm sad for you about Poppy. It's hard anyway, never mind wit the addition of your sister expecting too.

Chocolatelover finally something is getting going! You must be going doolally. Well done for noticing the ewcm and testing, I would probably have missed it.

I've just been for my 21 day bloods. My arm hurts now haha!

  • Quick message - haven't caught up since last here but I got my first positive OPK so feeling very positive and excited. Lots of CM this week (barely any last month). Hoping that this weekend is my fertile window as OH away all of next week and really don't want to make him return mid-week which is the plan at the minute (still may do that depending on positive OPKs) - is it a very trustworthy source? i.e. is it likely that if I get positives now, it is unlikely/impossible they will be positive next week because the ov time has passed?
