the_insider wrote: »Hi all, I've been really down today, the bean that didn't want to play was due today. Luckily my oldest friend was off work (I'm having a horrible MS relapse so I'm off too) and he came round to keep me entertained so I didn't dwell on it. He's a good egg, I'm pleased I introduced him to hubby 4 years ago, he ended up being best man at our wedding and his fianc! is also one of my best friends and has been since childhood. The four of us are really close but he told me today she's come off the pill, I'm terrified that they'll conceive before we do again. Very selfish of me but I can't help it.
I'm CD 23 today, waiting for a week on Saturday when fingers crossed I'll get that BFP I've been waiting for. :money:Millie the exact same thing happened to me yesterday!! A friend at work took me to one side to let me know she was 11 weeks (all fine had an early scan)... I was also very happy for her but cried all the way home. At least I have a heads up now for the scan photo being sent round next week. 2 of my good work colleagues are preg now and it really does sting... I just want to join them so much. I can't stop thinking about them sharing their mat leave together and going on lovely days out and lunches and me being still stuck in the office....
But it's Friday and almost the weekend so trying to keep my chin firmly up. Sending lots of love xx
I am beginning to realise this is one of the most difficult situations to handle when TTC. I am not doing too bad with this emotional minefield but only on #3 but my friend has been TTC for 12 months+ and she has already got upset at the idea of me falling quickly so I am going to struggle to tell her if I get my BFP sooner than her
So not sure what advice I have other than try to stay positive that it will happen and seek help and advice where possible if it doesn't. Good luck with those BFPs!!
I do agree that the mat leave and feeling left out will be an issue as I already feel like that with two best friends on mat leave now and one due in August - we kept saying we'd do this together but it didn't happen like that unfortunately. I'm hoping I am not too far behind though...0 -

Thank you everyone
Another strong positive OPK today so keeping my FX bd'D last night but not been doing it very often because I've been working my socks off and us both being a bit ill downstairs haha. (not an std BTW haha)
cats I'm on CD 102!! Longest I've ever had when I was younger they were always regular. I'm guessing it is something to do with coming off the implant?
Had a call from the docs about the scan to see if I have PCOS and they said it is going to be another 6+ weeks!! At least if there is a problem they are looking at it now before we've been trying 12 months.
Know how everyone feels about other people announcing. It seems like everyone is getting pregnant at the moment or just had a baby and I'm here likesome days I feel completely calm and other days I just sit and cry.

!!!!!! Millie that's crazy! But hopefully you won't need it
AFM CD3 now but weirdly AF seems to have finished. So one medium day and one light day and now basically just spotting again. How strange.
Went and took out my emotions on Parkrun this morning and beat my PB by 30 seconds :-DOfficially Mrs B as of March 2013

Millie that's utter madness, fx it won't be needed.
Cats well done on the park run :T Any chance it maybe wasn't AF, but implantation bleeding instead??
CD14 & still not getting on with opks. Temps have spiked today & yesterday, so we'll see what happens tomorrow I guess.0 -
Hi all
So today I have started spotting. Expecting Af today or tomorrow which puts me on a 10/11 day luteal phase which doesn't sound good
Also my friend announced that even if you get positive opk it doesn't mean I ov'd. Gahhh why is this whole process so confusing just wish it was so easy and obvious about what goes on!0 -
Aw midget I agree and unfortunately that's true. Even my doctor told me temping was the only way to be sure. AF could still not arrive though you never know!
Angel I love you optimism but cramps etc and bright red blood (sorry tmi) mean I'm pretty certain it was AF.Officially Mrs B as of March 2013

Hi all! So much many posts to catch up on from this week! I have been so busy at work and I am absolutely loaded with th cold
hubby has been loaded too so not much bding going on lol
Not much has changed for me, think I am now CD46 and still no sign of AF and another BFN last night (wanted just to be double sure)
Does anybody know, if you skip a cycle, would you usually still get a period before next cycle it just go straight into a new one? I'm really confused about what I should be doing now!
Going to start temping once I've got rid of this horrid cold!0
