cats I'm so sorry for you. It really really sucks doesn't it. Your post is exactly how I was feeling when we hit the 6 month mark. I seem to have now accepted that we are in for the long haul.
OH has practically given up, which has made BDing at the right time this month difficult. I'm pretty sure I'm 0DPO today, we last BD on Tuesday so will try again tonight and then let the TWW commence again.
Massive fingers crossed for you Freddie! Sounds very promising!Happiness can be found in even the darkest of places, if one only remembers to turn on the light - Albus Dumbledore

Good morning all,
OH and I got married just under 3 weeks ago after being together 5 years
We have decided this week to start trying, so in my usual fashion of lots of research, planning and organisation, I'm joining this thread and looking at ovulation tests etc (are these worth it??).
I haven't been on any contraception for a while, as I came off the injection, waited to go back to 'normal' and didn't. Ended up being diagnosed with PCOS but my cycle seems to have become fairly regular again so hopefully it doesn't affect me too much. The gynae said to just go back when we start trying but I'm going to wait and see what happens for a bit. I've been using a period tracker but only to record AF rather than any symptoms etc so I should probably start paying more attention.
I know you can't plan these things, but I really don't want to be heavily pregnant over Christmas! Fingers crossedOH is looking forward to lots of practising.

Freddie fx (& everything else) crossed for your guys!!!
Welcome pyscho, sounds like you're doing as much as possible atm
Sorry to anyone whose cycles are messing them about. I was a bit like that when I first came off the pill, but I think & hope that it's calmed down a bit now. So bloody frustrating when it's happening though
Cats sending loadsa hugs you're way. This ttc malarkey is so !!!! sometimes, & I don't think there's really much anyone can say can make it any easier. Yeah I know "you're young ... it'll happen in it's own time etc etc" is true, but it is not exactly helpful . But remember you're not alone. I think we've probably all been there at some stage. I think that's kinda where I'm at now that we've passed the 6 month mark. It really sucks, but, like freddie said, it'll be worth it in the end. Take care of yourself :grouphug:0 -
Cats I'm glad I'm not the only one!! It is torture I keep waking up thinking "today's the day!" and then nothing
Pyscho welcome to the threadhope your stay is short
I would recommend the Seven Seas trying for a baby tablets they look like the pill so are easy to see if you've missed a day or not (they have the days written on them
)

Chocolate, funny you say that... I just got them
Over the others as I just couldn't justify the cost!
Thank you for the welcome
I downloaded ovia today and good timing, turns out I was day 8 yesterday (also had a look a sperm meet egg... I love a project and research!) so looks like I should be ovulating next week if my cycle is going to plan. Unfortunately DH is away for 3 days but you never know.Became Mrs Scotland 16.01.16Became homeowners 26.02.16

 BFP! BFP!
Two of them, did another to check. But both appeared really quickly! A couple seconds after dipping. Hormone levels must be really high so OV must have been early.
We'd been all thrown out because of the problems she was having that led to us going to A&E. We hadn't managed to BD on the days we'd intended leaving a big gap. But on way back from A&E she said she felt crampy and a lot of EWCM, so we must have done it at exactly the right time!
Just praying everything is alright this time!
Thank you all of the support you've given over the last 6 months, I hope you all get your BFPs soon. I'll head to the 12 weeks thread, but keep popping back to see how you're all getting on.
Hope you all join me over there soon!Mortgage remaining: £42,260 of £77,000 (2.59% til 03/18 - 2.09% til 03/23)
