Why can't you do a test the day after OV?! The TWW is killing me! I'm 13DPO now and go on holiday on Sunday so will do a test before I go (18DPO) if AF hasn't appeared... But I have a test upstairs and it's taking all my willpower not to go up and take it now, but if it's neg then I know I'll be disappointed even though I could still be... Aaaaarrrrggggghhhh!

Sending big hugs to all who want/need them. I've been married for almost 3 years now and have been questioned by every relative I've seen since the wedding breakfast! Most presumed we were off to baby-make that night... If only it were so easy! xx

I echo the others, pee on that stick!

CD11 here awaiting OV. First month of using CBFM still not had high or peak yet but usually OV on day 14 so will need to persuade DH to BD next few nights. He's not feeling well just now (man flu :rotfl:)

Haha littlemoog! I just meant a future testing date :rotfl:

I'm temp watching like a hawk which is doing me no favours! Bought a 20 pack of cb digital opks yesterday, hoping I won't need them but if I do, I'll use them alongside regular opks and see what happens.

Good luck roz, I agree with the others, TEST?!!

Just on here to report something unusual... no not 43 BD's that won't fit in a BD diary! I've had three days of positive OPK's. Weird huh? So you know we weekend-only BD due to OH job he works away Mon-Fri... well I was very pleased to get a positive OPK on Sunday afternoon as we'd been BDing all weekend (on second thoughts if he was here during the week maybe we would achieve >42 BD's!!!) and that's got to be better than getting a positive mid-week. But then yesterday I got another positive. I thought LH surge might have been between Sunday and Monday testing so still in with a chance of some super stamina slow swimmer sperm hanging on in there for ovulation from Sunday afternoon's deposit (TMI?!). But then today I got the same again.

Before anyone points out the obvious to me... all three times the test line was darker than the control line.

    Possible causes on a postcard!

What CD are you on? I don't want to get your hopes up unecessarily, but this happened to my friend a few months ago - she has wacky cycles so thought it was OV, but positive tests carried on for days. Turned out she was actually pregnant, as HCG (pregnancy hormone) is nearly identical in shape to LH (OV hormone) and can give a positive on an OPK. OR there could be another reason - I vaguely remember reading that ladies with PCOS have a naturally higher level of LH all the time, and need to use an OPK with a higher threshold to pinpoint OV. Don't know if either of those are helpful?
