Haha I hope I can have one!

I think I've got about 10 days of the TWW left, not that I've caught this month anyway. Been getting a horrible pain in my abdomen, which is very similar to the pain I was getting when I was admitted to hospital last year. They did ultrasounds for me and said I had no cysts or anything and they have no idea what's causing the pain. I just hope it isn't the reason I'm not getting pregnant, although this is the first re-occurrence of the pain since last June.

Cd29 for me, had some bfn's but they were on out of date tests. Desperation makes me hope that they're showing a false negative but I don't think its really possible. It's more than likely that I'm just back to my long cycles.
I'm thinking of ordering some opk's which I've not used before and some more pregnancy tests, maybe if I shell out for some I'll get pregnant straight away and they will go out of date again

According to the Countdown To Pregnancy timing guide, I can do an early PG test today. However, I won't, because despite giving the builders very specific orders to prioritise getting the new toilet installed while I was on holiday, they did not, and we now have a very unattractive hole-in-the-ground-with-bucket situation  One of them also managed (and I have no idea how they did this) to fall through a closed loft hatch door while up there installing the extractor fan, leaving us with a builder shaped hole in the hatch. All of this means that we're driving across town and using the mother in law's toilet, and I do not want to be doing POAS there. Whichever way it goes, I'll want privacy.

Lemon Tree, did you try the cheapy OPK tests from Amazon or eBay? They're just as good as the Clearblue or Boots ones, although I do like the Boots ones because not only have I found them accurate, they say to avoid FMU and have therefore saved my bacon a few times when I've forgotten to use FMU

I really hope you get a tortoise Lulu! They can be surprisingly quick when they want something (mainly food!!)

Still waiting for AF to disappear here. The sun is shinning and so everything looks more positive :)

    I want a tortoise now :)

Cuilean, sorry about your toilet situation, that would drive me mad.

I'm out, temp dropped this morning and my extra clumsiness started yesterday so just waiting for ww to show her face now (due Fri/Sat I reckon). On the plus side, it means cocktails galore this weekend! And already excited for trying again next cycle :j

Ooh, you get the clumsiness too? I cannot be trusted with anything of value just before AF is due. You name it, I've dropped it in the days before AF. I'm sort of worried about what happens if we do wind up with a baby. Holding babies makes me nervous at the best of times, let alone the butterfingers days.

    Cocktails though - yay! :T

I've just googled tortoises! I might keep asking OH but knowing my luck he'll say no. Tortoise and baby picture sounds too awesome an opportunity to pass up on!

The clumsiness thing is odd, I've never heard that before! :rotfl: I know I'm out as I didn't even get a look at DTD in the right time but I've got my BBT ready for next friday!

    Haha yes and yes!

Cuilean I have nightmares about dropping babies cos my clumsiness is off the chart when I'm nervous!

And lulu, I only noticed it in the last year or 2, but up to a week before AF I walk into stuff, drop/let-go-of stuff and it's every month without fail. Even DH notices most months now :rotfl:
  • Sorry to hear about temp drop snow_ball.

Cuilean, that loo situation sounds awful, hope it gets sorted soon! Had to laugh at the idea of a builder shaped hole in the hatch, that's some pretty epic falling :D

Nothing happening with me, more ewcm yesterday and then dry today, no temp change still. Have had lower abdominal pain and bloating for the last couple of days, made the rookie error of googling it and scared myself silly! Just want AF to come already, so bored of this cycle

Lulu, I hope you do get a tortoise - show us pics if you do!
