So sorry to hear your news Pug - it really is awful; I hope you are getting through it ok.

Thanks for your thoughts also ladies, it's much appreciated. Its been a pretty rubbish 10 days but I'm on the mend now. I'll probably come back on here in a few months when I'm allowed to start trying again.

Good luck all, hope that none of you are here when I get back (in the nicest possible way!) x

  • Good to hear from you JoBatch - and that you will be able to start trying again. Fingers crossed everything comes out all right x

Commiserations on AF chickp and ellesbelles, virtual vodka and doughnuts en route :)

I spoke too soon about ovulation - despite high temps yesterday and today, had EWCM again today :( Has anyone experienced this after ovulation? I don't think I can coax any more BDing out of OH this month, so if it hasn't already happened we're sunk - and I'm back to not knowing when the next cycle will start. Ho hum

Black Ribboner my cycle has been like yours! Very confusing, EWCM from CD9, with near positive Opks for a week. Finally had very strong positive on Thurs so I'm calling 1DPO and giving DH the rest of the month off!!

If I'm not lucky this cycle, I think I might lay off the OPKs next time as they cause a bit of obsession in me!!

With a working loo (At last!), and one day until AF was due, I finally got to do a test - BFN :( Also, just to kick me while I was down, five minutes later, AF arrived. So now I have a BFN and AF all in one day. I managed to curtail the expletives to a John McEnroe style "You cannot be serious", which I'm pretty sure entitles me to some sort of cash reward for self-restraint.

    CD1 please

Sorry cuilean, AF is teasing me this month too. Due today but not had my usual 'warning' spotting and none of my imminent arrival pains either. But I know if I test it'll be a bfn and then AF will appear in that 'what?! you knew I was coming!!' kind of way :o

I'll have to test tomorrow if there's still nothing as we're away for the night and I won't be able to think about anything else otherwise.

Wishing everyone a relaxed and fun weekend!
  • Ah Cuilean, what a horrible double whammy :( Hugs and well done on the restraint - not sure I could have been so decorous.

Maire, it's comforting to know I'm not the only one struggling to interpret fertility signs! I'll be using opks for the first time next month - I can't obsess any more than I do and maybe it will offer more clarity than the cm/temps/symptom methods . . . You know, I can't work out how I'm meant to track fertility signs but not obsess or stress about them. The two seem to be mutually exclusive!

Keep us updated snow_ball, all crossed that it isn't just a tease!
