  • Ah, sorry, shouldn't have assumed! What about house rabbits? Or a tortoise (fun for at least half the year ;))

I'd love a dog, but we have the same issue with not being home enough :( The day I retire, I'm straight down to Battersea - only another 40 odd years to go. . . :-/

Yeah we own our house so it's fine. I've suggested all of the above and get a resounding no. I get so lonely when I come home from work so I said I wanted a cat/dog for companionship when OH is at work, but he didn't buy it.

    Thanks for the welcome.

Another vote for a tortoise! Mine is currently enjoying the sun at the moment. They require very little during the day. They can have such personalities as well which was very unexpected. He certainly recognises me and will happily sit with me (on my feet!) whilst I am cooking in the kitchen. Not the same as a cat but something at least ....

He fits in the palm of my hand. He should grow to the size of a side plate so not too big. He's rubbish at hibernating though and wakes up in January after getting bored! Rubbish tortoise!

Update to CD1 for me please!

    yippee! Time to try again!

Would've = Would HAVE (not 'of')

No, I am not perfect, but yes I do judge people on their use of basic English language. If you didn't know the above, then learn it! (If English is your second language, then you are forgiven!)
  • Yay pinkshoes! Here's to a prompt sticky bean :)

MovingUp, that sounds like an excellent tortoise to me!

My app says CD7 for me. People at work keep asking me when we are going to have kids. I appreciate that I've just got married and so it's fairly natural but I find it really rude!

Unfortunately Cuilean, it appears that almost everyone I know does get pregnant from just looking at a penis!

Just waiting for AF here. Should be tomorrow.

Lulu there's loads of pets you can get. They're not for everyone but rats are really interactive, friendly and intelligent. I had bearded dragons for years and they are amazing. So cute and so much fun.

    CD4 for me!

Back to trying again this month after a break last month due to Xmas babies - bad I know! It was however really nice not to have done the 2WW and SS and be nervous about whether AF coming or not.

Didn't realise how much I have been stressing the last few months until I had a month of not trying. Although I know stress isn't good for me, not sure how I can avoid it in all honesty! I am so impatient as soon as I have ovulated to POAS!!!!
