    Hey all,

It's been a little while since I was on here as it was all getting a bit much for me and we decided to go with the not trying not preventing chill out method of conception; and I had a lot going on with work and studying and trying to buy a house and whatnot.

Without going into too much, I ended up being admitted to hospital on Thursday morning after getting a BFP at the doctors and the previous night being up with huge pains and bleeding. I was unaware I was pregnant, having had a period and a further bleed a week ago.

The hospital confirmed the pregnancy is ectopic. I was only at the doctors due to the pains which were caused by an entirely coincidental cyst exploding on my right ovary. They believe the pregnancy was in my left tube. I would have been unaware even now if that hadn't have happened, probably a good thing it did as I was going to be at sea next week, I could have ruptured and possibly bled out/died by the time they got me back on land and in hospital. Silver linings and all that.

Anyway - congratulations to all the BFP's; I hope you all have a great pregnancy. Good luck to those still trying :-) x

Oh my goodness, Jo - how terrifying! So glad you're okay though, and that the luckiest of unfortunate coincidences means it was caught. Hope you're looking after yourself and relaxing a bit. What a horrible whirlwind of events. Fingers crossed you have a calm few months now.

Congratulations to all the recent BFPs!

I haven't posted much recently, but am still reading.

I think i must be the only one on this thread looking forward to AF arriving! After my second MMC at 9 weeks, i am looking forward to my body returning to normal so we can go back to TTC.

I feel spotty and a bit grumpy, so am sure AF must be close! (I was advised by the hospital after the D&C to wait for AF before trying again.)
Should've = Should HAVE (not 'of')
Would've = Would HAVE (not 'of')

No, I am not perfect, but yes I do judge people on their use of basic English language. If you didn't know the above, then learn it! (If English is your second language, then you are forgiven!)
