I made a thread catcher in coordinating fabrics to go with the project bag I made as a present. I also made a zippered pouch and two drawstring bags from the same fabric. (Fabric is mint 5mm polka dots on one side and lilac 5mm polka dot on the other.

Thread catcher is from this pattern/method. http://www.seaside-stitches.blogspot.co.uk/2013/03/fabric-box-tutorial.html

Please could you try the link in my above post and tell me whether you can see the bag? I have fiddled :D If you can, you should be able to scroll through and see other things I've made in the past

Today I have made a few smallish pencil cases and put a few cheap coloured pencils in them to be wrapped up for a children's lucky dip at a fundraiser in the Summer. I bought fifty trouser zips dirt cheap on Fleabay from China and have been practicing with scrap fabrics :D

Ah wow!!! There's some lovely stuff there, pixie! I especially like the pencil roll- I have something similar in mind for my bamboo crochet hooks.

Just squeaked at my OH-I'm so ridiculously chuffed that someone

    a) wanted a tutorial
    B) liked it enough to make one

    You've made my day!!

I've finished a knitted baby blanket yesterday, pics to follow. I was then struck by a sudden guilt pang that I've never made anything for my OH, so I dragged him up to pick some wool and I've started him a crochet afghan-big project I think!

No time in the craft room today, didn't feel up to it, so plenty of work on his afghan going on today

Thank you :D:D:D The other one is better, and prettier, but I can't put pics up without the recipient seeing it!

Careful, I'm dying to ask how to make a baby bag......those instructions'd keep you out of mischief for a good while ;)

    Hahaha!!!
I will have a crack at a basic version of it if you like, and pm you it?

The only reason I don't really wanna put it in public view is because that's what I'm planning to sell once I can focus on my business when baby is here and settled.

    Aww-feel bad now!

Wow loving all your makes PixieDust. You are putting me to shame :)

I am declaring a further 10 makes as I have completed the first 10 weeks of Project Life :)

The total is creeping up slowly but on the plus side I can't remember when I last bought any craft stash so the existing stash must be decreasing :)

Keep up the excellent work fellow stash busters and keep crafting :)
