I haven't made anything but I've had a massive clear out of the craft cupboard of doom and re-discovered a lot of things I'd forgotten about
and binned a lot of stuff that will never get used!
Hopefully having a beautifully ordered cupboard will inspire me to make more things because I can actually see what I have to use!

Sadly, had to make a sympathy card. One gone from the stash I'd rather not have had. But that's the way it goes.:staradmin: June NSD's 2/19:staradmin: Sealed Pot #460 :staradmin: £/day £185 saved :staradmin: W.S.C 2015 #45 :staradmin: F.P. 2/24 months :staradmin:0

So sorry Hoipolloi, how distressing for you
Today I have made a pencil case out of Santa fabric for a little girl towards her Christmas pressie, and a small unlined tote bag as a gift bag for a teen for Easter, I have filled the bag with her favourite sweets.
Again no pics as all on facebook.0 -
I had a massive clear out of the stash yesterday and got together 2 big bags of cardmaking stuff i've never used to try and find a new home for. Lots of stamps, toppers and papers. So it clears a bit of room for me. I can actually see what i've got now!
I'm half way through my christmas crochet blanket now, and at the point where, no matter how long i spend on it, it doesn't seem to be growing. Argh.
Got a few jewellery ideas to have a go at too. I've lost count what i'm up to in my total now Must sit down and try to work it out and get some photos.
Hope everyone else is getting through their stash nicely.Book a week challenge: 11/52. Competitions won in 2021: 120 -
I fell off the waggon and bought a job lot of crafting stuff... I know I shouldn't have but I was weak...
I have however made a new lamp shade for a bed side lamp. I did have to get a new shade as the last on was too broken to do anything with but bought the cheapest one and decorated with buttons at the bottom....
I have also cleared another box and basket of pieces of packaging that I have turned into die cuts.so adding another 3 to the total - some have already been used and they take up a lot less space than the packaging did...
tried to finish a journal and have realized that my singer sewing machine is no longer stitching - not sure if I can fix this or if i should just get rid of it...
I've spent the day looking for dress patterns - i seem to have misplaced about 8 of them... (which I'm seriously miffed about) - been looking in any box anywhere in the house big enough to hold them.... have a bad feeling that they have been lost in the move or stored somewhere they shouldn't be like the damp garage that had mice all winter... my craft room is actually quite tidy and I'm fairly certain they're not there - looked in every drawer that is big enough to hold even one and under every pile of fabric... a bit miffed as i washed fabric yesterday for a tunic pattern to sew up this weekend... grrrrrrrr
glad that people are feeling the crafting vibe and hopefully i will manage to get some bits finished and find the patterns... haha probably not.

There must be ablack hole for dressmaking patterns - I can't find some of mine either, nimbo.
Everyone is getting on so well and I am so far behind in this challenge. I still have my April cards to make and that will use up some stash. I do have to confess to buying 3 wee Easter cross stitch kits in Hobbycraft. They were £1.50 each or 3 for £2, so couldn't not buy them, so they'll be making cards for my 3 grandchildren. How handy was that!

Hello everyone!
Well done on your progress so far.
I'm kind of joining in the challenge (albeit a little late, I've been AWOL from the forum so far this year....). I'm not setting a number of projects to complete, but I do want to not buy any more stuff. I have enough already. More than enough, if the truth be told.
Actually, recently I've given away masses of stationery items and some art materials, so my collection has decreased a little in some areas. I still have a fairly decent embroidery thread and fabric stash. It doesn't take up rooms and rooms, but it's plentiful.
I have a wooden workbox full of basic cotton threads, then a 4-drawer contraption (with approx A4 dimension, 3" or so deep) containing a lot more. Not packed full, about half full. There's also one of those Really Useful Box drawer system things with the 0.3l boxes full of beads, metallic thread reels and a few other trims etc. Along with that, I have a larger 4-drawer thingy holding fabrics and a basket of frames and hoops and another craft tote that I'm planning on emptying and giving away much of the contents of.
There are also some small boxes of card blanks, some card-making supplies and plenty of pencils, paints and art paper.
So, I have enough and am unlikely to need anything more for quite some time!! With very rare exceptions, I intend to work from my stash for the foreseeable future.:pElizabeth
Long-term No Buys: print books, make-up, art/craft items
Lost 8 of the 20lbs I need to shed:D0
