Forgot to post my update - doh :)

On the driving front the bruising is now going and I am beginning to feel much more human again and my daughter is back to normal as well so that is the main thing :) I am still terrified of driving and cannot bring myself to drive in the dark again yet but the good news is that I collected my new car (new to me but not new new) on Tuesday and drove it home the 47 miles and have also taken the kids to and from school so I think I am getting there slowly. Each day I drive I feel a little more confident than I did after the accident :)

On the crafting front I have also managed to make a few things ready for the mothers day fair at my son's school.
These include 2 peg magnets, 5 paperclip bookmarks, a spa lady, a wish star and a coaster post it pad holder. So that's another 10 items towards my total. I have also listed a promarker storage wallet on facebook so hopefully might sell this soon and decluter another item :)

I will try and post pics on my blog soon but at the moment life just seems to have taken over again and I seem to not have enough hours in the day :(

Keep up the excellent stash busters and keeeep crafting :)

Glad you're getting your driving confidence back, craftingmad. Enjoy your new car.

I'm feeling pretty much human again at last. I got another couple of cards done - variations on an embossing folder. I was making a new job card, so I chose the birdhouse folder as a 'fly the coop' idea. Originally planned to leave the embossing uncoloured, but then madness took over. The darker card was coloured with promarkers and the other was rubbed over to highlight the pattern. Not sure about them, but hey ho, one is winging (no pun intended) its way to my friend;the other will go in the card box for emergencies (???!!!???) or for the charity shop when I do my occasional clear out.

Back to the knitting now. It should have been finished by now, it's only a toty jumper. Half way up second sleeve, but I've just realised I didn't do the increases on the first sleeve, so that'll need to be redone. :(

The little birds are blue with pink tums and the middle of the birdhouse has a silver/glittery ornament. The colours don't show up very well.

Well done to all of the stash busters! :T

I've been quiet as things have been a bit hectic, trying to fit in a full time job, which includes logging on and working from home on odd nights, as well as looking after a poorly baby, leaves little time for much else! :o

I have managed to make 3 cards and 2 frames over the last week or so though. So, using my funny calculations, that's 9 things stash busted!

Nimbo- great idea about using up your stash in a big die cutting session! I have the Big Shot but don't use it all that often as I CBA to dig it out then find the right die etc. I think I need to set aside a couple of hours to do a big cutting session so I have a box of die cuts ready to use, because I do like to use them once I've made the effort of doing it! :)
Overcome the notion that you must be ordinary. It robs you of the chance to be extraordinary!

I guess everyone is busy busting their stash!

I finally finished the wee jumper (well I still have to sew on a couple of press studs). I hate setting in sleeves, and the dark contrast shows up the join :( I unpicked the seam once, but I'm not doing it again; it was a nightmare.

I have a (very) little of the wool left still. Granddaughter saw me knitting this and has asked for a jumper for her teddy, so that should use it up.

Finally, a picture of the very simple sewing machine cover I made. Patterned fabric from eb&y, batik blue from DOughty's online, both from my stash

    Thank you :)

Today I made a christmassy wine bottle bag and a zipped pouch......like a wash bag without a plastic lining. Will post pics when I can.
