    Hi everyone.
Thank you all so much for all your get well messages and support. They mean so much. I am feeling a bit better now as the bruising all seems to have come out and the guilt although there is subsiding slowly. I think the test will be when I get driving again which I know I have to do. Im thinking of hiring a car from saturday for a week or too whilst I find replacement for mine so I'll let you know how I get on.

I have managed to do a little bit of crafting and have made 2 foldback clip photo holders and a hug in a box as samples for sons school for mothers day. Not a massive amount but every little bit helps right?

Its great to see everyone else chipping away at their stash and increasing their totals. Keep up the good work stash busters and happy crafting :)

Hello all, I've not been about for the last wee while as I've been a bit under the weather and just can't seem to shake whatever it is off. At least I've not had the horrid experience you've had, crafting mad. I'm glad to read that you're beginning to get back to your old self. I think hiring a car for a wee while is a good idea - enjoy it when you get it.

I got a lot of project life stuff from that tv craft channel, in a really good deal a few weeks ago. I had bought some heartfelt creations dies before Christmas too, that are specifically designed for scrapbook layouts. I just haven't got started yet! When I get round to it, I've decided to start with the people who matter to me - a sort of personal history of relationships. It should give me plenty of scope for journalling too.

In the meantime, I've got my February cards done, but all were of the quick and easy variety (no personal inspiration). I did use up some Hunkdory stuff, some sheets of card and envelopes, some 12x12 paper and a few stickers.

The idea for DH's Valentine came from the Vintage Scrapper's blog. It's an origami card.

I also started to use up some wool, knitting a little jumper, but it is stuck with just one sleeve to do - no mojo to finish it. I think I'll dig it out now and get back to it. I've no plans for it when it's finished, but my granddaughter has asked for a jumper for her teddy, so I know what to do with any wool leftover after it's finished. ;)

Anyway, after that ramble, I'm counting 4 things towards my stashbusting total (which is pretty dismal right now).

  • Hi and hugs to everyone, especially craftingmad-glad you're feeling better.

I've not posted much since saying I wanted to join, but I have been crafting, so I do have some projects to declare.

You'll have it take my word for it, as I'm not sure how to post pictures? Although I would love to, so if anyone wouldn't mind pointing me to some destructions, I would appreciate it!

    1) and 2) baby cardigans knitted
    3) and 4) two crocheted baby blankets
    5) knitted baby blanket
    6) and 7) two knitted baby hats
    (Can you sense a theme?)
    8) valentines day card
9), 10), 11) journaling pages. (Counting them as one each as they use up lots of bits and pieces, and take lots of time, as I'm still very new to it)
    12) knitted basket for bedroom

I've also done a birth sampler, but I'm not counting that until she's here, as I have to add her name and date of birth etc.

I'm working on a hat for my friend who's undergoing chemo, and then I think I going to make some more baby clothes!

I'm sure I've done more than that, but still no access to my craft room, so will have to check later. But... I very nearly have a new craft room, so exciting and lots of projects to make for it!

I'm intrigued by project life, but I really don't need another hobby so trying to avoid!!

Another card made, though not Christmas this time. It's a birthday card for my mum's 82nd birthday. Made an evelobox to put it in too but will only count as one item. Card used up some toppers, some ribbon (tried a triple bow for the first time - thank you You Tube!) and a piece of 12 x 12 card for the envelobox. Still too new to post pictures though x

    Tenth Anniversary
Hi everyone have enjoyed reading about the great variety of projects this week.
New project life album arrived and I have made up 3 layouts. It is taking longer than scrapbooking for now as I am stamping my own cards for it. But I have really enjoyed doing this as I had been on the verge of giving away my stamps as I really don't make cards very often.
I admire those who have time to do it every week but there is no way it will happen here.
Having done the first few pages I like the fact that I seem to use a lot more photos than before.
I tried to sort photos into packets to break down for layouts and I am considering putting them into the page protectors so when I have time I can just grab one and add the journal and title. At least the photos would be stored in one place even if I am slow to get the layout done.
Any helpful tips re project life would be appreciated.

Hi everyone, sorry I haven't posted for so long, I've been de-cluttering madly (see the Kon Marie thread) and not managed any crafting. As part of that, I did give away some fabric and have organised the rest so I can see what I've got instantly - hopefully I'll use more now I know what I've got! Also resisted the offer of more books and fabric from Mum
Now I can see the wood for the trees in my sewing room I hope to crack on with my cousin's rucksack which had got lost in the mess :o
Oh, and I knitted myself a beanie from odd balls of wool I found, and wore it with pride this morning, and it's lovely and warm :T
Thanks for all the lovely pictures, I enjoy following this thread :)

I have a few to declare - a valentines card for OH.

Several pages of journals / scrapbooks (10). I'm even keeping up with my 365 SMASH book for now...

I have cut out a few junk journals - but still need to sew them... (so not counted but posting to encourage me to get them sorted...)

I have my new sizzix big shot (I already had one - but had to send it back as it was not working as it should - it took a month as they returned it to the wrong address) - so I will crack on and get some packaging and scrap card stock die cut...
Just made over 100 die cut tags etc with my sizzix big shot - used up 5 pieces of packaging and the remains of 3 pieces of card stock that were used to line my print tray... So it only counts as 8 really as that's what I used up - i've even used some in a scrap book page since cutting them...

I still have a list of thing to crack on with - but hey ho... Need to set my sites small for now...

Carry on crafting and will be back soon...

    Hi all,

Great to see lots more makes from your stashes :)

greentiger - hope your feeling better and I love the cards :)

bubblepops - thank you :) and what fab progress you have made in such a short space of time :)

craftyc - glad you've got cracking on project life and you are enjoying it so far :) I make my own planner pages which help me to work out what I am going to put in each pocket but you can also print them off from the internet if its easier. I also use picmonkey to make up collages of photos if I have too many photos for each week. Hope this helps a bit :) I don't think there is a wrong way to do Project Life so just enjoy it :)

rosyq - well done on the cluttering :) Bet it feels great to be able see clearly what you have got :) I am a long way off that yet I think :( but I am getting there slowly :)

Nimbo - I love my big shot :) Its great to see you have put it to use already :)

Pixiedust - oooh I want to make a sewing machine cover but don't know where to start - have you got any pics to fill me with inspiration?
