I think you did really really well.
Yes, you got rid of boyfriend but you're very happy with different boyfriend is an achievement. :T
You got your tattoo! :T
Stopping self harming is one hell of an achievement! A huge well done for that one. :T:T:TGE 36 *MFD may 2043

I love how honest everyone has been. Something I will be looking at myself for next year I don't think I achieved any of mine tbh0

I'm in!
1) Buy my own home. I've been saving a couple of years now since I had to sell my last one after my divorce so hopefully this is the year.
Bought my house in March and it is perfect.
2) Keep a continuous and progressive weights/exercise program. I managed it well last year but it was very intermittent.
From March to September I managed this but have dropped off since coming back from holiday. Will continue this next year
3) Read more. I only started reading books about 18 months ago and really get into when I am away and traveling but when I get home I seem to put it down until the next trip.
This has only started in the last couple of months but I've become somewhat addicted to it. Read more in the last 2 months than anytime in my life.
4) Travel to more new places. Really got the travel bug these last couple of years and hope to continue it this year.
Spent two weeks in Florida and travelling to San Francisco on Christmas Day for a week. Also booked South Africa for next year
5) Be happy
It's been a good year
Looking forward to doing one of these for next year.
Happy New Year :beer:0 -

Oh well 2016 is a new year
I try to take one day at a time, but sometimes several days attack me at once0 -
Thank you for starting this thread. Okay here goes:
1. volunteer locally-I do with Barnardos
2. lose 10lbs and keep it off-Lost a stone
3. be a better daughter-I was very lucky to be able to say what I needed to say to Dad before he died in September
4. decide what area of interest you want to do as masters and apply-Now doing a masters in Children and Young people
5. complete CV-This is on the back burner
6. eat healthier-Ooops!
7. not to go back on cigarettes-Ah oops again
8. get the hall painted-Done. In fact we went on to paint the whole house
9. try to buy clothes at charity shop, in fact try to buy most things at CS!-I now live in the charity shop
10. ask do I need it, can I afford it-Ok so I slipped up a bit last month
11. avoid commercialism where possible-Yeah this isn't going too well
12. Save to pay master's fees-Have done this. I now have next years saved too
CydneyX
ETA. 13. Declutter!-I have been ruthless and decluttered the whole house a la Marie Kondo...and it has stayed that way[/QUOTE]Pay off all your debts by Christmas 2025 no. 15 £0/69490 -

To have not self-harmed since January is a FANTASTIC achievement. I am 3 years clear of self-harming and know how hard it is.
Very well done

Great thread! If there's going to be another one in 2016 I would like to join in. :j I've got a few goals for next year.sealed pot challenge 9 #0040

I didn't reply to this in January but my aims were to sort the garden out, knock our kitchen and dining room into one nice new kitchen diner and do our living room. We've achieved all three except for the living room flooring, which we'll try to get in boxing day sales now.
Next year's are mostly house related too, I'll have to look out for the 2016 thread!0 -
I was hoping someone would start this thread, thanks belfastgirl23.
Here's my thoughts for 2015:-- Lose weight and get healthier. I've joined a gym and want to build going into my routine so it doesn't feel like a chore. Didn't happen
- Pass the 4 exams I'll be sitting every two months until July. The plan is to study on the non-gym days. Passed 2 exams, still to do the rest
- Get a permanent job - I've been contracting for 2 years and want to settle down. Decided to stick to contracting and loving it.
- Go on a 5:2 TV diet - my kids are away every Tuesday and Wednesday night and I tend to veg in front of the TV those nights. Did this for three months
- Be a better friends - in fact find more friends! And have a more active social life. Have built a good social life.
- I would add meet a fella but I've been single for 8 years, so don't see that happening. Not one date this year.
- Keep a tidier house. This also didn't happen.
- My finances are well planned, so continue to stick to the plan!
Quite a boring list, so I'll add on I'd like two holidays this year, one with the kids and one without. Three without the kids!
Happy New Year everyone.
A mixed bunch, but overall I'm happier than I was last December.0 - Lose weight and get healthier. I've joined a gym and want to build going into my routine so it doesn't feel like a chore. Didn't happen
