Great thread, I want to aim for

    1. Complete college course year 1 & find a placement .

    2. Change job to get better work/life balance.

    3. Aim to go to gym 3 times a week.

    4. Run a 10k race.

    5. Save £2000.

    6. De clutter and hopefully raise funds towards no.5.

    7. Do more crafting & use sewing machine more.

    8. Sort out garden (neglected very much last year).

    9. Make time to see friends.

    10. Get ds14 off xbox etc and do more things as a family.
  • 1 - Sort out my relationship, either be happy with my lot or find the courage to end it.
2 - Sort out my career, either apply for other jobs or commit to childminding full time.
3 - Do something with my music to get my confidence up - join a choir.
4 - Once confidence is up - go busking.
5 - Be more active with friendships, by making new ones and sustaining old ones.

Thanks for the thread, I too was hoping someone would start one.

    Personal:

Keep dad and sister out of my life.
Sort flat - get it decorated and carpeted and everything unpacked.
    Stop making inappropriate disclosures.

    Professional:

Tout the play I've written around everywhere that accepts them, until I either run out of places or get it accepted.

Write another play (or novel or screenplay, I haven't decided my next big project yet).

Write all the short stories I've got rattling around my head, and submit at least two a month to competitions or submission calls.

    Build my twitter presence.

Fill as many textbroker assignments as I can and get my rating up.

Return to uni in September after a two year gap due to personal issues.

    Health:

Do at least 15 mins of pilates a night for a few months then up it to 30 mins. Aim to be able to take up beginners yoga by autumn.

    Eat healthier.

Binge less, hopefully once a week at most.

    Change GP surgery.

    Lose 50lbs.
Unless I say otherwise 'you' means the general you not you specifically.

    I want to:
    -shed 15kg
    -triple my turnover
    -double my profit
    -run 5k
-pay off my credit cards, about £2500 in total
    - buy a smart TV ( that's my OH's goal rather then mine though) done
-buy a new laptop (that's mine) done
    See you next year!
  • Excellent idea for a thread!

    My aims for 2015:
    • Healthy packed lunches at least four days a week.
    • Finish a 5k run in under 25 minutes.
    • Go on at least one family holiday.
    • De-clutter the room of doom.
    • Finish work on the garden.
    • Devise and follow a photo backup process.
    • Meet our MFiT3 target and end the year mortgage neutral.
    • Increase self employment earnings without impacting quality family time (work smarter not longer).
    • Investigate ways of making money through writing.
    • Keep working towards financial independence, end the year with a nice increase to financial net worth.

I already did my list on the previous page but I've thought of a few more things to add:
    -Learn to drive
-Get up earlier on work days so I'm not always running late
-Exercise at least four mornings a week
    -Get a new tattoo :D

And my final one, try to do something kind for someone else every day.

-Get the tattoo i've been wanting for ages

  • Great thread.

    Mine are

    - Do yoga on a daily basis (if only 5 - 10 minutes). Classes twice a week. (Body Balance classes count too.)
    - Keep up the mindfulness practice.
    - Spend more time developing friendships.
    - Spend more time on hobbies, and less time idling about.
    - Continue to recover. To not expect miracles. To be honest with myself about what I can do.
    - Ditch the perfectionism attitude.
    - Find a partner.
    - Be content.

I've not done one of these before so why not!

Goals for the end of 2015 are:

    - Get my weight down to between 11st 7lbs and 12st and keep it there
    - Set up my garage-gym and use it 3 times a week
    - Carry on trimming our finances so that there's a healthy net gain at the end of each month
    - Still be cancer free, managed it for nearly 3 years now and long may that continue!

Oh just thought of yet another resolution I forgot to put on my list, and it's possibly the most important one of all:
Go for my first smear test. I've been putting it off since I turned 25 (27 now) and know I need to get it done, as scary as the thought of it is.
