Everyones doing so well
Tooties, I would second that, great to see everybody making progress.
Lots has happened here. I think I have been on a bit of a mission and it is rubbing off on those around me!
Our garage and spare room were both totally out of control. Christmas with lots of new toys def made things worse!
We have now done four runs to the tip with old furniture (stuff that wasn't fit to give away as has been taken apart and put together that many times! Also three trips to the charity shop with a whole boot load each time.
In addition, we have parted with some gym equipment, and sold a dishwasher. My daughter even decided to sell a dolls house, she has outgrown and is now delighted that she has £70 to spend on whatever she wants.
Stuff to the charity shop was quite extensive, loads of clothes, blankets, cushions, books, teddies....
Also have 22 auctions on eBay. It is quite addictive and I am loving how great it feels to be freeing up storage space, to be able to put the things we are keeping away better!

I've been in my kitchen today, I have one particularly messy cupboard, and a drawer of doom.
The messy cupboard had kids stuff in, err, tube of metanium, unopened. My "baby" was 4 in September :rotfl: put aside for my mum who is fostering a tiny one at the moment. I've also put aside for her an amber teething necklace and a basket for the dishwasher that can hold dummies and tops of baby bottles etc.
I've rehomed a few things to the garage that should have been put back but never quite made itand sorted DD (aforementioned baby) hair elastics out. She has thousands so any even slightly stretched ones have been flung, along with any grotty clips and slides.
Also found an open bottle of last years sunscreen *fling*
Junk drawer is still a bit junky but less so. Kids play money given back to them and DDs bracelets and other junk put back in her jewellery box. At least I hope that's where they put it.
Flash cards found so kiddies currently playing at being teachers.
I'm having a well deserved cuppa :TBossymoo

I don't get this....my stash of carefully hoarded kitchen equipment is so important to me, even if I don't use it for 20 years I love the peace of mind knowing that it's there should I ever get a creative moment.
Thanks for the congrats!
I have some other modern springform cake tins which I actually use. These were really old one-piece ones that I will never use!
I did think carefully about it but we declutterers need to declutter everything, sentimental value or not!!!
I still have her pasta machine and other bitsDecluttering 2015: 2162/20150 -
Well I managed a good haul to the charity shop and recycling centre yesterday so I can now get off the starting blocks.
Charity Shop:
1. Two wooden CD crates
2. Pair of curtains
3. Bag of redundant Christmas decorations
4. Two videos
5. Three fiction books
6. Coasters
7. Two over-the-door hangers
8. Jewellery box
9. Four small candles shaped like roses
10. Decorative wooden animal plaques
11. CD case (fabric carrier for 10 CDs)
12. Phone case
13. Eight t-shirts
14. Two pairs of trousers
15. Two bras
16. Two scarves
17. Slip/ petticoat
18. Hand held stick blender (new one requested for Christmas that wasn't slightly squashed at bottom where it had rested in a hot saucepan of soup)
19. Bunch of cutlery
20. Two cake tins
21. 12 silicon cake cases
22. Cake decorating/ piping paraphernalia
23. Three biscuit cutters
24. Two spatulas
25. Two jumpers
26. Big pile of costume jewellery
Recycling centre
27. Small bag of metal and electrical wires
28. Medium carrier bag of textiles (clothes and fabric remnants beyond the charity shop’s use)
29. Bunch of spare tiles left behind by previous occupants for the bathroom. I kept two spare tiles just in case any got damaged (unlikely but you never know)
Bin
30. Bag of old toiletries that have been hanging around for years
Feeling rather pleased with myself. I now need to go and finish cleaning the bookcase I got from the charity shop and move it into place. Then I need to clean and photograph the bookcase it's replacing for selling."Does it spark joy?" - Marie Kondo
