DH decluttered something for me today by accident.
He thought he'd be helpful and put a load of washing in.
I come home to find my pure merino wool dress has shrunk beyond recognitionI could save it to make something out of the felt but that isn't realistically going to happen so I've had to bin it.

Hopefully I can do some more proper decluttering soon, heading into the loft at the weekendDecluttering 2015: 2162/20150 -
Not much going in here as I'm back in work full time & gym after, leaves me too tired to sort through much at the mo. Just one pair of shoes which I've only worn once and rub my feet. Going to take to work to see if someone wants them.Cos I don't shine if you don't shine.0

Made a start this evening which is really good as it is a work evening. Done nothing for a few days as my parents have been ill. Today I tackled the kitchen drawer in the unit...have not been in it for a long while.
Here is my list,
Old watch(broken)-bin
About thirty cake candles(semi used)-bin
stray party poppers-bin
Cocktail stirrer-bin
long matches-into box by burner box onto fire.
number candles unused-CS
Bird fridge magnets-CS
Discovered I appear to have a fuse obsession. Have found about 10 unopened packets not to mention the stray ones at the bottom of the drawer!!!!
Weird thing is I can never find a fuse when I need one. have put them in my "useful box" where I found yet more fuses hidden under a bag of hooks:o
Now I will update my signature this does feel good but not sure I will be able to keep it up on work nights.Enough money to live on so retired early...planning to see where life takes me:D0 -

Some things are easy to get rid of whilst others only go after I've given myself a good talking to! It might be useful/attractive/have cost hard-earned money but if we haven't seen it or used it for years, how can we justify keeping it?! We haven't got the space to keep things "just in case..." and it makes feel good to think that someone else has a use for my unwanted stuff and that the charity is making money from it. (I only give to one local charity shop - Headway. It's not overpriced, the people who work there are lovely and some of them benefit from the charity themselves). Then there's the added benefits of having more space, the house being easier to clean, not having so much to pack when we eventually move and simply enjoying what we do have a lot more.
Need to get rid of more stuff...0 -
went through dd's wardrobe today and put three items into charity bag. Also three ebay parcels out the door.0
