:T Well done to all for your decluttering efforts.

I have a cold at the moment so not getting much done. I have managed to use up various nearly empty bags with soothing throat tablets though.

A bag with various crosswords & magazines was also given away over the weekend to MIL.
No toiletries challenge, started 18/1/2010 - Putting £1 in my savings jar for every item that I use up. Pot 1 to 4 = £261. Pot 5=£23
    Boots points:£39.21. Extra money in 2012:£674.59. In 2013 £603.48. 2014: £85. 2015: £0 :j

    Hi All
I havent chucked anything yet but have removed everything out of my kitchen and put all on to the dining table and chairs.
and in boxes on the sofa in the dining room.
Blimey you wouldnt believe all that stuff came out of such a tiny kitchen!
So been working through the mountain to bin/cs or keep there was even a pair of wellies in there?????
I had stuck a chilli in the slow cooker in the morning so didnt have to run back n forth to find cooking utencils ect.
Ive never used the dining table for years either so thats going to a good home too.
Stuff is only going back that I absolutley need.
I found 6 wooden spoons, 20 teaspoons and 4 pan lids with no matching pans. Crazy.

Today went to plan and I got all the Christmas stuff back in the loft. Took the cards to be recycled and returned two unwanted pressies to Argos. Various bits and bobs in the bin/recycling. Another sale on eBay so one more thing out plus some packaging. One of my new habits is to deal with the post ASAP. I have always been pretty good at this but I am now extending it to filing anything that needs keeping IMMEDIATELY as the filing cabinet is now downstairs. Back to school and work tomorrow so things might slow down a bit.

Evening all .... today has been more miss than hit. I had the 'flu over Christmas, and it's left me feeling rather wiped out at the most random of times.

However, I have thrown 6 magazines into the bin, dated from 2009 and never looked at since.

I've also unsubscribed from a couple of e:mail mailing lists, as when they come in, I never look at them, but they clog up the inbox.
