A thick brochure on French holidays. Its been to Devon and back and neither of us have looked at it. I refuse to look at anything abroad until my passport is sorted.

    Ooh a hoverboard ;)

The kitchen has had a good clean and 5 items from there gone into a CS pile, well they moved rooms!

I've not got round to getting rid of stuff in any bedrooms yet, still some clothes to go through and packaging for a router to be binned at least.

I need to ensure the toiletry stash continues to be whittled down, I got a but obsessed buying stuff on 'offer' but when it couldn't physically fit in the storage drawers we realised we had a problem! Thankfully not too much was added by Xmas, but I have enough body lotion and body butter to last me a lifetime! Do you think people are trying to tell me something? :rotfl:

    9. Scented candle used up.

    10. Threw away some really old emery boards.

    11. Went through the box I keep my calculator and phone charger in and recycled some old leaflets.

    12. I'm going to have to take some stuff to the tip as we have some DIY stuff that the previous tenants of the house left here, more than a decade ago!

Sometimes you don't even see the clutter as it's been there so long it blends in.:rotfl:

I've read that and it was good. She goes very far with it but if it makes her happy why not.

I'm in for this too! I spend a lot of my time just moving clutter around the place.

My granny doesn't like throwing things away, and tends to pass them on to me instead... so now I have a carrier bag of woman's weekly mags to recycle... after I see if there's any knitting patterns I could keep.

    7. Tablecloth CS
    8. Pair of shoes CS
    9. Tupperware container CS
    10. 5 Mugs CS
    11. Pair of chopsticks CS
    12. Wooden Lighthouse CS
    13. Broken wine glass - bin
    14. Duvet set - CS

I came back from the charity shop and swung my bag round and knocked a wine glass off the coffee table. I had four odd ones, now I have only two left. One is large and fragile and the other is smaller and heavier -I think I will use the smaller one!

Hedgehog I know just what you mean, one or two of my cupboards and shelves take my breath away just looking at them!

After joining in last night I was up very late, one of the cats decided it was time to go out so while waiting for him to come back in I pulled out the box of deccie's I'd pushed under the stairs and cleared it out. It closes now :) and I have a bag full of old bits, sadly not even good enough to give to the cs so it has to go in the bin. I was also searching for a receipt (cat had gone aroaming) and cleared out three ring-binder files - I found the receipt in the pile of filing still to be done so one of today's jobs is to sort through and thin it out. Mog eventually decided to come home and we all got to bed at 2am. Zzzzzz

So far today I've done two drawers and one of the cupboards of the sideboard, several items in the bin and half a bag of odds and ends to go to the cs. Getting started has quite motivated me, long may it last :)
