Clutter - things lying about looking untidy.
Why do we hang on to such things.
Just had yet another clear out. This time 1/3 of my wardrobe and shelf above.
The secret to success is making very small, yet constant changes.:)

    What is your clutter type?
    The collector
    The concealer
    The accumulator
    The !!!!!!

I think I am a accumulator who then tosses out.
All to common, we collect STUFF (accumulate) then as time moves on out the door STUFF goes again on another journey to CH, family or trash.

Sentimental keeper for a while but them wisdom kicks in and it is time to move on.
For the last few years we have had a spring declutter.
The whole house from loft to shed.
Space is great! for a while till Stuff moves around and the empty gap is filled :0(.

    Better buying habits
A loud - No! we don't want it!

One day everyone might just have a system that works.

I think the 'Ladykillers' programme that has been on BBC 2 had been very helpful in decluttering of our place! A couple of the cases involved people hoarding crap outside, in sheds etc for years and then getting infestations.

Que me making appropriate 'urgh' noises and commenting on how could they let it get so bad?

OH has now revealed that he wants to get rid of some of the wood he's been stockpiling to burn in the chimenea as it will take years to use up and the piles could be the home to all sorts! I thought he would never agree!

Finally got round to putting some ads on Gumtree so hopefully some items leaving soon.

One pair of jeans purchased  but they are to replace a pair that are about to fall apart on me.

One hand creams used up, only 3 more to go...

:o:o:o two toilet seats (unused!) found in the garage. Neither fit our toilet. DH suggested we use them as novelty picture frames :rotfl:
I can cook and sew, make flowers grow.
