Hiya everyone
Have just finished de-cluttering all my folders in my mail account. Managed to amalgamate/empty/delete quite a few as well.

Hi all,
As usual I haven't been on this thread for a good few weeks but as it's holidays I've managed a wee tidy up.
Cleared out one box I had in my bathroom which was a mixture of odd socks and toys!
Also attempted to make a start to tackle my living room.
So far I've managed
Odd socks binned
Various toys bagged for CS
Some toys binned, just not good enough for CS.
Loads of paperwork, junk mail and scribbles by the kids into recycle bin
Few outgrown clothes bagged for CS including a jacket and body warmer.
Books bagged up for CS too.
I have an awful lot more still to do but clearing little and often seems to be the only way I can face doing it. Hopefully will get more done during the holidays but in small chunks.0 -
Started on the garden shed, 2 packets of bulbs I'd forgotten about had shrivelled to almost nothing so went in the garden rc bag. A pair of broken secateurs, no idea why I was keeping them, in the bin. 2 pots with a very little paint in each put in the car ready to go to the tip. Spent ages removing a dead shrub in a pot, eventually got it out and can now plant the new one that's waiting to go in there.0

Does anyone else have an OH with a DVD/BluRay obsession?! It does my head in, we don't have enough storage space for all of
.
Oh I hear you on that one!!!!! We still have the videos boxed and stored just in case .....of what I'm not sure:mad:
As for the DVDs well don't even start me off on that one there are piles on top of the racks (mine also has a weakness for hddvds - the red box ones that didn't catch on like bluray did)
Best I can hope is that I have at least convinced him that some are one watch so if I'm prepared to sit through them with him a few at least have started to leave the house but it's a very slow process.
Saying that
2 DVDs we won't watch again went to work with him this morning to give to work friends:TSPC~12 ot 124

Oh thank you! I'm glad I'm not the only one
I managed to flog the VHSs a year or two ago at a car boot but it was a battle to get him to agree to let them go. Also sold a few DVDs but we still have sooooo many!
2 DVDs out - well done! Every little helps, it feels like such a victory when a DVD leaves the house! :T

Article in today's Mail about recycling it was the 1 thing out on day one, 2 out on day two etc method the lady who did the article did 14 days. Didn't really say much apart from how liberating it is to reclaim your space back and not be bound by possessions.SPC~12 ot 124
