    Decluttering 2015: 2162/2015
  • Not done too badly today. A bin bag full of bed linen no longer needed with the ongoing redecorating of bedrooms here. A bin bag of cuddly toys from DS's bedroom, can't say I'm sorry to see them go. DS has kept a few with special memories. Pile of comics in to recycling. Couple of bin bags of Lego sets, various games and toys, all really lovely condition. Couple of framed pictures and aeroplane rug, nice but too young for DS. All in the corner ready to go to CS. DS and DD's Dad has said he could take to car boot for me as more stuff still to clear out, but I like to donate as don't have lot of spare time to volunteer for charity. Also, stuff is gone quicker :-).
Right, best go and fetch four loads of laundry in off line before it starts to get damp.
Have a good evening all, especially those of you planning more decluttering before bedtime.

Pop the Lego on a sales page on Facebook, it always sells quickly and for good money

    Did well today :0)
Bag of clothes to Sally army clothes bank.
Family came to visit and looked over our loft clearance. Took some stuff :0) Toys and dressing up stuff for role play(kids).

Clutter that comes in the mail :0(

You would think with most people having computers @ home there is no need for a printed paper trail too!
Junk mail, catalogs, magazines and newspapers.
All get neatly filed in the recycle bin after looking looking for any coupons.

We will have order one day to household chaos.
The secret to success is making very small, yet constant changes.:)

  • Beautiful, sunny morning here and I plan to get some tidying and decluttering done as I'm back at work Monday and I have less chance of doing it then! Got Mr Sainsbury delivering shortly, so best get showered and dressed and get on with it, no excuses! Hope to report back tonight on my achievements. Have a lovely day all.

    Moving on in life slowly.
Emptied the recycle bin several times this morning = a kitchen swing bin.
Lots of school/college books/files no longer wanted by adult kids.
Food/ coffee jars in recycle crate.

Still a way to go with this springs declutter.
