furniture polished :-) out goes an empty can of polish. also out goes a coaster with the pattenworn off. lots of pictures put away, also photos in frames. these are bugging me i dont want to throw out as the frames are expensive and will be used in the future when I feel like changing photos and pictures on display now but they are in the way in the bottom of the wardrobe. An ornament put away in cupboard its amongst one of the many things I want my aduly children to see before they go to the cs, both should be calling this week so hopefully more stuff will be gone.0

Tomorrow, after a double file cabinet with hanging file drawers shows up :-
Two sets of cheap and flimsy shelves
a filing cabinet with a single drawer for files and two for bits
two under bed storage boxes
a Really Useful 19l file box (with hanging files)
a Woolworths record box from the 1980s
a baby blanket I had found in the street, took home and washed
3 CDs too scratched for Music Magpie
a long grey coat - this is a lovely coat that has received a lot of wear, but has not been worn at all this winter. I haven't worn it and can find other coats to wear instead of it, so it can go.
I shall appraise my wardrobe again, later. Don't know what I'm doing, but doing it anyway... :huh:0 -
Morning declutterers.
3 box files plus magazines that were in them - filled 2 recycling bags.
Cracked shot glass - bottle bank
Old tooth brush - used for a dirty job then binned
Toy with part missing - binned and all packaging recycled.
Bag of duplo type building brick - taken to school yesterday for playground.
Really pleased with how much stuff I'm managing to get rid of, I know I stuff have a huge way to go but DH is noticing how much better the house is looking now it's not stuffed to the gills with 'things' most of which we don't use.
It's a lovely feeling getting the gift aid letter from the CS saying how much extra they are making from our surplus.SPC~12 ot 124

Thanks, Mrs M:T
Have just found the 'no more books' thread and have subscribed but haven't yet checked out the 'good reads' you mentioned.
How you find the time to read with all the decluttering you get through is amazing:A. Please let me know what you use to give you so much energy, I'll rush out and get some:rotfl:0 -
