    Thanks, Mrs M:T

Have just found the 'no more books' thread and have subscribed but haven't yet checked out the 'good reads' you mentioned.

How you find the time to read with all the decluttering you get through is amazing:A. Please let me know what you use to give you so much energy, I'll rush out and get some:rotfl:

I have so much clutter I'm still on the easy to find and clear stuff:rotfl:
I seem to have a lot of very time consuming hobbies - knitting cross stitch and reading but I tend to flit from each and get totally absorbed in a different project each time. I've just done quite a bit of knitting and now have a couple of cross stitches I need to finish as they are gifts but they have taken a back seat the last couple of weeks to the decluttering dervish I've become. I do try to balance and do a little of each most weeks but sometimes one thing fires me up and takes over.
It helps that I only work at lunchtimes, so that gives me more hours in the day at home.

My birthday card folder was getting very tatty and I remembered I had a spare so I've just, transfered all the cards and dates to the new one and recycled the old one.
2 non working biros - binned
DS1 plus friends left some empties last night so 3 for the bottle bank

Not much decluttering gone on here recently. Work got in the way and was too tired to do anything.:o I've been having naps most evenings instead of everything else I usually do. Worst thing about it is I NEVER Nap:eek: so I must be tired if I manage that.

Anyhow. Got a Charity bag round the door this morning and they take anything you have to get rid off. So As I'm off work for a few days I'm off up to have a clear out of the attic and bedrooms and see what can go out to them on Monday. I;s a lovely day here today so think I'll do some cleaning along the way of decluttering.

Just went through a box of old birthday cards, cleared a few but found one my DS1 got from a friend for his 18th he's now 20. It had 5 £1 coins taped in it and found an anniversary card from mum in law with a £20 note still in it.

    Result!!!

    The cabinet arrived today.

After major palaver due to it's weight (proper industrial HDF, not the usual domestic stuff), it's in place.

I took out two of the hanging file racks, arranged the shelves and everything's in.

Out went a small and flimsy set of shelves that sat on the old filing cabinet, a tall set of wobbly shelves, a filing cabinet (with only one file drawer) and a rolling hanging rail after I put another coat in the charity pile and I consolidated two hanging rails into one.

All my coats, bathrobes and hoodies are all under a sheet on one rail.

    There's extra floor space.
 Don't know what I'm doing, but doing it anyway...
