Hi All,
Update! I just sold £30 worth of stuff on eBay today (ex. Postage) will send the items using my work's mail room cause they get a discount.
Yesterday wasn't a NSD but I only spent £4 for 1 glass of wine at my work's bar.
Need to do a food shop today but planning to go to lidl for a cheap shop and given myself a budget of £15 for this weeks meal plan.
Not planning any socialising but may go to a friends house for a cup of tea so we can keep it cheap.
Happy weekend everyone!!NST March #13: NSD 6/13, Travel £25/£40, Social £6/£200, Food £25/£60, Exercise 2/15

Hi everyone, sorry ive been absent! Ive got to catch up. Ive been miserable and exhausted with work. I know I shouldn't complain, but its a mess. The people that were unsuccessful at keeping their jobs basically Have an issue that those that did . Those of us that did, are under ridiculous pressure to deliver with hardly any staff!
Now the positive stuff :-) I have been shredding every other day so far and I found I have enough virgin reward points to take me to vegas in the month I become debt free. This would be for me and my youngest. We both love it out there this would be in the August school holidays. Only thing is I'd feel guilty not taking the others. My daughter insisted she comes too and my other sons are not fussed to be honest. Even though I probably wont go, the fact that I can, has really lifted my mood :-)
Today my youngest and I are watching films and having a lazy day. I hope everyone is OK with all of the winds. London hasn't been too bad. I hope your all OK turtles. Gonna have a read through of the thread Noel. Take care everyone :-):A Your Always in my heart, you never ever will be forgotten-9/9/14:heart2:0 -

I am really sorry to hear that your work hasn't been going well but I am quite glad as my work on Wednesday was an absolute disaster and my confidence is completely shattered.
Then on Friday, a relative of someone at my work spoke to me and I said that I couldn't say anything (breach of confidentiality) to which she replied that she was extremely offended and stormed off raging. I wasn't in work and I cannot discuss anything outside of the workplace at risk of getting disciplined.
Long story short, I am feeling absolutely rotten as I have also managed to catch a really bad cold which is giving me sinus pain (I guess as it is my head, nose and mouth that are really sore).
As a result, I have been very miserable, upset and wondering just what I am doing this all for.
Why don't I just get a normal job where nobody expects much from me and I don't have so much responsibility and where the consequences of my actions are not so drastic.
Today is a spend-free day as I am not getting out of my pyjamas. Thursday and Friday were spendy days.
I will need to go and check when I last updated my SFDs in case I have more than one to add.
I am thinking about my achievements in life so far and where I see myself in the future (basically, I am just feeling really awful and sorry for myself). Sorry.
Oh... and to top it all off... my mum is keeping all our finds to herself so my roadkill total is 0p.
Just read this back... very very sorry for the miserable post. I really do not know what is wrong with me today.Mortgage: £0/£80,329.91

Hi guys
Sorry for my absence too. Very hard balancing my first week back post-op as it made me a lot worse. Still need the money so couldn't do anything but go. I am sure it will be better over the weekend. Am spending most of it in bed!
Hav figured out my spend days etc. Today being one of the spend variety. £50 worth of Macbook protecting gear, reduced for the day so I swung on it while the crystal hard cases and the sleeve were £14.95 for the 2..then used a £5 off amazon voucher I was given for logging into an app I haven't used in forever :rotfl: so £9.95 extra used.
The last 3 days at work were all WTW/LTW and SFD
Going to do the food shop online today as I cannot carry anything or push the pram so it has to be done. Sad to have abandoned Mr L's since before Xmas but I just can't do the walk and push the trolley etc at the minute.
Hugs to those who need them. Totals in my sig. Off to do that shop & meal plan as I go. xx
Loveadove I even detoured through the garage forecourt on the way to work and still not a bean in roadkill.

Please don't apologise, my post wasn't exactly a barrel of laughs :rotfl: I'm so sorry you feel that way and I totally hear you. I too think, why not just get out and do something where I'm not drowning in responsibility! But think about what makes you happy outside work. You must stewby, we must have a coping mechanism otherwise we will go stark raving, mad! Chin up, we can do this. Besides, I suppose no job and carp that goes with it, no debt free or holidays :rotfl: Take care:A Your Always in my heart, you never ever will be forgotten-9/9/14:heart2:0 -

Sorry to hear you have had tough days/weeks stewby, traveller and lilt
Stewby - you obviously did the right thing at work but you can't please everyone and I imagine family members are likely to be emotional at the place where you work. I remember watching 24 hours in A&E and one of the doctors said that they had to remind themselves that whilst it was a normal day at work for them, for some of the people they were meeting (patients and family) it was the worst day of their lives.LBM = 07/09/13 Debt = £13339 (100% cleared)

Well what's happened turtles, poor little mites, big hugs to all, seem so much pain and stress the last few days . Retreat, rest and get ready to take on anything next week.
Stewby I moaned all of 2014, if you don't feel 100% everything seems to worse than it is. Be confident in yourself, sure are doing a great job.
No spending yesterday and today. Feel tired so lasying in pjs now, managed to give blood yesterday, seem to getting appts every 4months now might ask to 6 month apart next time.
