I'm not picking on him. I'm genuinely interested in the moneysaving theory behind paying out for an extra car that you don't need when most pensioners are wondering how they're going to pay the heating bill. :)

I have a car that I like to pop to places in and I like a more luxurious car for other times.

£200 or so a month (+ fuel) just to avoid having to "pop places" in your own car. Hope my retirement is that comfortable!

Not sure bridge folk have a gender as such?

I am a big fan of the wind up threads, let's keep this one going, but how can I not try and look out for drfm or dark matter or whatever name they using this week whenever I see someone driving like a tit. Great work people!
  • My retirement is comfortable and I live my life to suit myself and I don't hurt anyone. As I have said, I have worked my socks off all my life and I have paid in so my time to take out.
  • I DO NOT DRIVE LIKE A TIT. I am a law abiding motorist. I pay for my petrol like anyone else, it is just the parking and the tollbridge I get for free.

Or the "troll bridge" before some smart alec pipes up and this IS MY thread. I don't mind if Joe Horner posts on here because he is genuinely interested in what I have to say but most of the others are quite not interested in what I have to say because they are not interested.

I have read the last sentence a number of times and it still makes no sense.

Neither does any of the other sh*te written in the rest of DRFM's posts.

Oops sorry - I should have asked for permission to post on the thread first as it's DRFM's personal property and DRFM has exclusive rights + Joe H of course.
  • All I ask if you do post on here is that you be Civil.

who is paying for the mobility car that you say you use to pop places is it completely self funded or is it a proper mobility car funded by the UK taxpayer
