You overestimate the amount of times I say I am not a troll

You are very good at ignoring posts that don't meet your agenda.
  • What have I not answered?

My disability (I am happy to say that I am disabled) is quite severe and I prefer to keep the nature of it private.

My blue badge is about to expire but I am sure it will be renewed.

With severe mobility problems how can they not?
  • As I said I am sure it will be ok. My situation has improved a little though but I don't think quite enough.

I DO NOT DRIVE LIKE A TIT. I am a law abiding motorist.

Nope, you hog the middle lane, which you've been told is a specific offence as of 2013. Please drive on the left. If people want to merge from the left, let them. If you find them distracting, tough. If you need to leave them some space, consider moving out for them if it is safe to do so.
If your car says you're doing 70, and someone overtakes you, their speedo might say 70 too.
If you really can't cope with the left hand lane of the motoway, I'm afraid you're not fit to drive. And the same applies if you insist on staying in the middle lane.
That was civil, not what you wanted to hear, but hopefully you'll think about it and change your driving.

It's quite severe so still bad.

Except (and I'm not supporting the OP here, just trying to keep things accurate), it's not a specific offence and never has been.

It is, and always has been, an example of driving behaviour that may amount to an offence depending on the situation. All that happened in 2013 was they made it easier and less costly to take action by using the FP system rather than prosecution when needed.

It's also worth bearing in mind that every single way people suggest for dealing with it, apart from either moving out a lane or waiting patiently at the correct followiing distance behind, is also driving behaviour that may amount to an offence under the same legislation.

And many of them (overtaking on the left, flashing and honking etc) are probably more likely to lead to a penalty than staying out longer than someone else would like because they're more likely to lead directly to accidents.
  • My car has passed its MOT. My motability car is on lease and so is brand new every three years and so would not have a speedo problem.

If my speedo says it is 70mph then it is 70mph. I can't be held responsible if other peoples speedos are wrong, they should get a better MOTist.

    Brilliant! All speedos are approximate.
