Is this the same as Amazon Prime as we have that, so kindle library, free next day postage and tv/films and I think its £79 a year????
WI today and I've lost 2lbs and got my 1&1/2 stone award.
Talking of knickers and school, when I went to school we wore gym skirts and what were called navy knickers for P.E, me being 11 and not knowing, I thought I had to wear mine instead of my underwear so was mortified when ever my very short gym skirt flew up in trampolining
Its separate to Amazon prime but the cost is about the same just to read some boooks. Its basically a lending library that you have to pay to borrow books from. If time allowed it might be worth it. I also saw it as a reward for being good with my slimming world but the choice of books is limited.0 -
Sorry for the off topic question but does anyone here have a subscription to kindle unlimited?? I'm doing the free trial at the moment but not sure its worth £7.99 a month.
I looked at it but decided against it. I've already got 19 pages of books loaded on my kindle, waiting for me to read. The majority of those were free or less than a pound anyway.
My daughter on the other hand decided to go for it. It is like a lending library but only with specified books. You don't get to keep them and there is a limited number you can download to your kindle. If you get it and then unsubscribe all the books you got through unlimited are removed from your library/kindle.
Might ne good value if you read loads (we do!), but for me yo sign up I would want to have any book I wanted, not the ones that are basically cheaper books. But then I am a little tight with my money, especially direct debits coming out of my account! When life hands you lemons, ask for tequilla and salt and give me a call!!!0 -

Oh sorry TIE. Hope you are feeling much better today and that the little so and so behaves himself today. I lost my bath in Oct when we had a bathroom refit. DH was struggling with bath and shower over the bath so we have had the bath taken out and a large shower put in its place. I only used to use the bath may twice a week (did shower at other times) but there are times when I miss it but it was a case of needs must. Good luck for today.
Well done to all of yesterday's losers. :T
Good luck FE getting back into the zone. Cannot help with the Kindle Books thingy as I only get the freebie ones. Have considered Amazon Prime but I didn't know what the selection of books would be like.
Getting ready to go to Sainsbobs - oh joy.
Have a good day everyone.

I'm trying another week of EESP. I think where I went wrong last week, aside from the fruit, was that I failed in the basic instruction to have half your plate with protein and have with speed foods.
My plates were more like for example a chicken breast and the rest vegetables. So the protein was only taking up about 1/4 to 1/3 of the plate.
I know protein increases your metabolism and keeps hunger at bay, so this week I am concentrating on ensuring I'm getting that half plate full of protein. And probably buy some smaller plates! It is surprisingly difficult to eat a half plate of protein!:o
I did for lunch yesterday and by 8 pm last night I still wasn't really hungry!
Of course I won't know if this works until Tuesday morning weigh in. It might all go wrong:eek:When life hands you lemons, ask for tequilla and salt and give me a call!!!0 -
Morning all.
Reporting in with a loss of 1 lb.
I'm telling myself all the things I'd tell anyone: a loss is good, imagine something that weighs a pound, keep going, etc etc, bit I'm only a pound less than I was 3 weeks ago and I'm feeling cheated, specially when I think of the things I've resisted in 3 weeks.
And there's only 5 weeks left of the challenge, so not much hope of losing another 13lbs.
Sorry for being so grumpy, I'll be back later when I'm in a better mood.

Maman I was looking at melon last night in Asda but left them there thinking they were too expensive right now.
Not like you at all to be unorganized but I’m sure your doing just fine but it is a bit unsettling isn't it! I function most well with everything in life when I am organized and in control.
BEG there has been a large pile of clothes lying in my house for the guts of a year now that are allegedly for Ebay. Time to just bite the bullet and get them to the charity shop I think. Don’t be like me and let that pile grow. Even if you do one a week it hopefully gets rid. My problem is I can’t get to a Post Office until a Saturday so that puts me off, well that and just sheer laziness I guess. Also the postage at times makes it not really worth my while.
Thanks Masie M hope your on the mend too, still feeling yuck and bloated but the wind seems to have gone thankfully. Tummy problems are rotten!
Well done Pennylane, great loss! I’m envious of any sort of loss right now, even 0.5 lb would do me.
Hope the form perks up soon Greentiger! A bit of relaxation is maybe what you need.
Mich City pmsl at White Dee lol! Get that sorted now!!! One White Dee is more than enough! I’m actually well stocked up on good fitting bras now, I hit M&S when the sale was on and stocked up on the hanging baskets after Christmas - so yes I may have major knicker issues but the boobs are well covered!
Ilovetea, don’t see why not. Try it and see what you think
Lois you never know it might come off with a few good weeks. I have 9lbs to lose and have yet to lose anything in this challenge and am proper annoyed with myself and feel rubbish. Just keep trying. One good day leads to another, that's what I am telling myself. Ive a wedding in April and I feel horrible right now with the extra weight around my middle and I'll be so annoyed with myself if I don't hurry up and get it off.
Talking of :easter_ba , can't believe what they have done to Crème Eggs! I had planned to have one or two at Easter as my treat. Well my Mum always buys me the Crème Egg Easter Egg but now I'll have to tell her to get me a different one. If its not Cadburys Diary Milk Chocolate I'm sorry but I'm not using any syns for that! Raging
So hit the gym last night and did my 5 k on the treadmill. Was very pleased with myself as we had gale force winds to encounter and it was a struggle to get there and back. We weren't even allowed in through the main doors of the leisure centre as they were scared the doors were going to blow off! Back again tonight for the same. Hoping all the exercise not only gets me a loss this week but helps my stomach as well. _pale_ I can only but try!
Had salmon & stir fry veg for dinner last night and that was really lovely. Have my meals planned out for the rest of the weekend and really really hoping for a loss this week.
Bought some new teas:coffee: yesterday Pukka Peppermint & Liquorice and their detox one. Only tried the P&L one and its lovely, surprisingly sweet. So thinking that will be good for when I fancy a sweet syn free treat. Also good for the stomach
Shala I really hope that this time next week you and I are feeling delighted with ourselves from our losses!!!!
Any nice plans for the weekend?
I am gyming it tonight & tomorrow, decluttering and tidying. So just a quiet one but hopefully a productive and healthy one. Weekend alcohol is undecided, might have a few gins whilst watching the tv tomorrow night if I fancy it.

Morning lovelies
Tired after multiple wake-ups with baby last night but I must not binge eat to compensate, it'll just make me feel worse in the long run! I don't think we've got much in atm as I'm trying to cut down my daughter's chocolate supply (rather than me eating lots of it then having to buy more for her).
Loads more losses rolling in so well done to all.
Lois, I'm sure we've all had WIs that have been a loss but still disappointed us, and it's hard to concentrate on the fact it is still a loss. Try not to get too down and hopefully you'll get a fab one next week
I'm annoyed with myself for the last few gains, especially as it's mucked up my graph on SW online (I love my graph!). I guess it only averages over a limited number of weeks and thanks to my gains my predicted loss is now less than 0.2lb per week and my line goes off into the distant future :heartpuls Daughter born January 2012 :heartpuls Son born February 2014 :heartpuls

L: Campfire stew, stir fried cabbage & 1 tbs rice. Coffee with BD milk.Venision meatballs & spaghetti (lots of veg). Tea with milk.

It's my son's 18th on Monday but we are going for a celebratory meal on Sunday evening to a Thai restaurant as that is more convenient. I will still make something nice for tea on Monday and there will be a birthday cake. DD2 has come back from Uni for a week to do her dissitation(sp) but managed to coincide it with her brothers birthday so we can celebrate as a family.
Off to do a Lidl shop in a little while. I've got the car today so making the most of it and it means I can have a more relaxing Saturday morning.Weight loss 0/2st
