That's great tweets!! Your colleagues will be green with envy!:D

No one gets paid enough for that tie. Do take it up with your line manager/head teacher. Explain that you realise a certain amount of 'unpredictability' is to be expected with children but that you can't work like that in the longer term. Make sure it's noted. Tell her how ill it's made you feel this evening. Obviously I don't know all the circumstances but too many managers are willing to avoid doing something about a problem if someone else (i.e.you) bears the brunt of it on a daily basis. Make it their problem too.

Thanks for the heads up about Vimto wiz. I've never tasted it. I think I'll buy one can/small bottle to see if I like the taste. I've it cheap in Farmfoods.

I managed to eat a whole melon this afternoon, so the weight should be falling away!:rotfl:

That's what I thought maman and I am half lb below Christmas weight :j:j:j so lowest I been since starting SW this time :D

I lost 3 lbs!!! :j:j. Might not sound much to some but for me that's really something!! It's my first week back.

Can I be added to the list please? I'd like to lose 2 lbs next week.

Well done Penny :T I've added you to the chart but can you give me a target for the whole challenge period rather than just next week :D

The challenge will run until the 1st Mar so your last weigh in that will count for the challenge will be the 26th Feb..

Pennies don’t worry. I’m the world’s worst as far as will power goes (see below for evidence)and I know that wasn’t your problem – you were exhausted and very hungry and it was your body going into self preservation mode. Just write it off as a blip, a lesson learned that you can’t go without something to eat for such a long time.

Thanks for the advice re undies, Mrs_R. I’ll plan a trip to the recommended shop fairly soon. That dress is gorgeous – a favourite colour of mine, too. Have fun with your travel pass.

Also thanks to you too, Lois. The mince pies are my own make, with filo pastry (a lot of which breaks away) so I’m hoping there will be a wee bit less damage than a shop bought one.

Well done to bay-tree-cottage, jazz, penny and tweets.

As an ex depute head teacher, TIE, I know what it’s like being mugged by a mini monster. It happens all too often. Sometimes there is no support from the local authority either.

Hope all our ill friends feel better soon – sending hugs.
Don’t know what’s wrong with me tonight, feeling meh – not ill, just disinterested/unmotivated about anything. Eating wise, day started out well but has gone downhill rapidly.

Breakfast: wee white toast (3 syns), slice cooked ham, 2 poached eggs
Lunch: toasted cheese ( hexb toast, hexa cheddar, tomatoes and basil), persimmon & pineapple
    So far so good, then
Snack: finger twix biscuit (6 syns) – I’d just come in from the freezing cold blast
Dinner: 2 rosemary & red onion sausages, beans, few mccain rustic chips (3 syns), very tasty hash brown from lidl (2 syns) – and a real beef link (3 syns) followed by strawberries and a small scoop of vanilla ice cream (5 syns)
    Total: 22 syns
So it looks like I’ll be having a Mullerlight and/or a can of diet fizzy for supper.

Tomorrow had better see an improvement!

Sneaking in to report +1/2 lb shala.. Not too upset by that and still have my 4 stone award so moving on to the next one..

Been off work since Mon, done nothing but sleep.. Feeling much better for it.. I know how you are feeling shala, nothing worse.. Had some muppet pull out on me Mon, had to swerve and ended up in opposite lane, thankfully nothing was coming head on.. The guy driving didn't even acknowledge what he'd done, just drove off.. Really shook me up

Had a clear out in my bedroom drawers.. Belly warmers were sent to knicker heaven.. Need to tackle the bras next.. Don't even know what size I should be now.. Am starting to look a bit 'White Dee' in my comfy old ones! :p

Well done on the fab losses everyone :T:T:T

Sorry to those having a pants day - have a rude smilie pretending to be a group hug :grouphug: :rotfl:

I've been following EE today with much less carbs than usual. I have noticed I feel a tad bloated compared to a SPEE day though which is making me like SPEE more, much against my expectation!

Just realised I haven't eaten my HEB so will have some cereal and milk later:

Early breakfast on way to work: banana
B: blueberries, raspberries and muller light
    L: roast leftovers minus potato
    D: shepherds pie and veg

    HEA: milk
HEB: cereal (if the kids have left me any that I can eat)

Syns: couple of biccies right now with a tea

Thinking I might try for a SPEE day tomorrow

Oh sorry you have had a sh!tty day too TIE. How about doing the things that must be done and then treating yourself to a long hot soak in the bath. Well done on leaving the hot cross bun alone.

I keep focussing on half term, then it goes to 1 day aweek as child will be going to speech unit. Can't wait to get back to 'normal' work.
