    How very rude :p:p

Just watched that last diet program, I see the lady that lost loads was going to slimming world :T:T (I think it was her anyway)

I've noticed that whenever someone makes the news for losing a huge amount of weight they've nearly always followed SW. When I first started SW in 2001 there was a woman in the paper who had lost 20 stone (2/3rds of her starting weight) equivalent to my whole body.

Finally had a good night's sleep after getting some antibiotics last night. Only got up about 3 to go to the loo and then back to sleep until DH woke me up phoning at 8.30 this morning. Still feeling carp but better than I've been the last couple of days.

DH wanted a HM chicken pie for dinner so I've decided I'll have a small piece with loads of veg rather than make something different.

    EE today:

B - scrambled eggs on toast; satsuma
L - veggie quiche, roast chicken & salad with balsamic dressing
    D - HM chicken pie (12.5 syns:eek: for 100g); cauliflower rice, peas & brussels.

Think the melon I bought the other day is probably ripe enough to chop up to snack on today.

HEA - milk in tea throughout the day
    HEB - bread
    Syns - chicken pie 12.5

Glad you're starting perk up denise. Oh men and their pies!!

I've got a melon and I can detect that sort of 'fruity' smell in the kitchen so I know it's ready to eat. I'm off out in a moment so I'm going to get through a meeting with a coffee and then munch on melon afterwards.

    My EE plan for today:
B: NAS Ribena, kippers, HEB bread, HEA milk
    L: coffee and melon!
    D: chilli, rice, peas
    Syns: scrape of spread

Chilli is full of veg and I'll add a few extra mushrooms when it's heating up.
  • Mrs_R - beautiful dress :T

lantanna - thought we might have been able to share him ;). Mum always used to use old undies and vests too as cleaning cloths. We wouldn't think about doing it now. :rotfl: Hope you are feeling better today. I know how painful it can been - when I was in hospital after major operation I had dreadful windy pains (didn't feel a thing from op) and they were trying me with all sorts (even a rocking chair) to try get it shifted. If the queen or pope had come to visit (unlikely I know) if it had decided to 'escape' there is no way on this earth I would have stopped it. :rotfl:

CP - don't beat yourself up too much over your little blip. Draw a line and get back into it. We can do this ;)

Just had a bit of a 'trying on' session with jackets to see what I can now squeeze into. Pleasantly surprised to find that my smaller ones now fasten (maybe still a little on the snug side) but I am quite chuffed with that. So even though the losses have slowed down and got smaller, I must be shrinking a little which has perked me up a bit.

Just had SW Carrot and Beetroot Soup (2 bowls) followed by satsuma and pear. Dinner is going to be Hoisin Chicken with veggies (I think).

Having a cuppa and a bit of a catch up on lappy then I am going to tackle wardrobe sort out.

Quite a nice day here today - bit windy but the sun is shining and I have trousers pegged on the line :j

Thanks all for the kind comments about my dress- it's a bit different from what I would usually go for (it's not black ;)) but I fell in love with it :) I have a gold shrug and nude shoes and bag to match.
Lantanna- the water is from the Co-op. :)
My disabled concessionary pass has finally arrived- yay! Freedom!! Off out for a trot round town to stretch my legs, get some air and test out my pass so will be on properly later. Have a good day everyone xx

    Apologies for the rant alert...

I've had a really pants day :( i'm not sure where karma is today but i'm gonna kick it's butt..

I've had no sleep for days so i'm not in the best of moods but I've made myself be pleasant to everyone even to the point I've been chatting in the queue at a shop (which I never do) :( so good karma coming my way, right?

NO, after I went to get petrol earlier I was waiting to pull out safely onto the dual carriage way and this women in a 4x4 near enough stops in front of me, beeps and start screaming abuse at me for no reason that i'm aware of, I did a confused face at her and she drove off.

The only thing I can think of is that whilst i'm watching the traffic a few cars down to see where they're will be a gap (you know judging it like you're meant to) she's flashed me to pull out in front of her and I've not noticed! So I've been screamed at for NOT pulling out on someone.

What is wrong with people.. I wasn't being malicious by not going, I simply didn't see you, you horrible, horrible woman!! What is wrong with her that she can think "oh i'll be kind and let this person out" then turn into a raving lunatic in the next second!

    I'm :mad::mad:

Then I've got home, had a sneaky weigh in and I've put on 1/2lb so i'm not going to class because it'll tip me over the edge  I don't care :p

    end of rant....
    Mortgage amount at 31/12/2011 £166,050 now £0 as at Sept 21 - 15yrs 4 months early.
